This episode touches on everything you would try to do for those you love and your family. Definitely left me wanting more...

This show is exasperating

So Luke and Simon are off to find Lilith and Luke's partner. As they go up the elevator (why, I have no idea. They're given no indication which floor they're on) Lilith says they're staying, then immediately casts a spell to take them somewhere else. Next scene, Luke and Simon are back at Magnus's place. So much for getting Olivia.
I have no idea why Clary stayed behind when she portaled her friends to Magnus's place. To "buy time?" Time for what? And when did they get the soul sword back? Last we knew it was cast into a lake, and the only person who survived that didn't retrieve it.
I guess Izzy and Alec don't understand the meaning of "hurry." Then of course Lilith takes Jace back, which is what is needed for the story. That's the problem with this show. No effort is made to make sense, just get the characters where they need to be.
