Not Bad

Warning: Spoilers
Heavy on the male stereotypes sucking. As stated previously, the current generation would be much less likely to have fostered at all if unpresent fathers caused addiction and suicide. But it does remove responsibility for this behavior. How convenient.

He had no choice butt to pull the rug from under his daughter. And now we have to keep watching to see if he's the second coming of Dexter.

The sailing angle is very kule. Makes one wonder if the trip will be a constant threat that may never happen unless the series end.

And what's with all the single mothers!?!

To watch Australian television one would think no marriages last.

And their presentation of males makes it seem appropriate.

Mixed beginning

I loved Ioan Gruffudd in "Forever", so when I saw him in this, I thought I'd give it a try. It's promising. A pathologist with a dark secret. A relatively unusual take on police drama. But I have a harrowing feeling (see what I did there?) that the "daddy-daughter" side of the story is going to be as agonizingly irritating as it is pestilent.

BS-du-jour: If every girl whose daddy doesn't dance around her 24/7 went into drinking and depression, we'd be a VERY drunk and depressed society. Get a life, girl!

You can lose your daughter forever and choose work?

Warning: Spoilers
WTF? This is the worst first episode I've ever seen. The man doesn't have any love for his family? In the last moment he turn his back on his daughter?
