Ma Beagle!
ericstevenson2 October 2017
Well, it looks like I'm going to be reviewing every episode of this show as it's awesome enough to do that! This episode introduces us to the Beagle Boys and Ma Beagle, who were some of the most noteworthy villains from the original series. I know these were based on comic books which are notable for not being popular in the United States where they were made. They're actually popular in nearly every country EXCEPT this one! This episode focuses on Webby and while it's not as good as the premiere episodes, it's still quite fun. They are really taking their time introducing all of the classic characters.

Overall, I'm going to say that while a great show, it's still not quite as good as the original series. I do realize that there are some areas where it's an improvement over the original show. The biggest one is probably how Donald Duck is featured far more prominently. I mean, you'd think the most recognizable character from the franchise would have more screen time! The funniest bit was probably when they were afraid Mrs. Beagley and Donald were going to kiss. Hey, leave the insane pairings to the fans, boys! ***1/2

Plot is simple, but it's a total fun.

One paragraph plot: Triplets who are living in Scrooge McDuck's mansion, they play a lot every day. Plus, Donald Duck's usage of Scrooge's personal bathroom, it leads Scrooge to say a few rules. Then triplets and Webby go to a place called Funso's fun zone. Because of Webby, they got banned from that place. Unfortunately, they all kidnapped at that place by Ma Beagle's boys. But Webby freed herself and triplets. All three together, they captured Ma Beagle and her son. By the time Donald Duck and housekeeper arrived, they see triplets and Webby along with those two.

Episode 2 is a total fun episode. Some scenes are funny. And also, the triplets are very cute. The way they play is very good to see. It reminds me of childhood days. The scene where housekeeper helps Donald to get electricity fixed is very touchable. All in all, it's kind of simple plot, but because the way it present is good, it turned out to be a good episode. I'm loving DuckTales animation series and I'll keep watching to the end.
