Nothing but another lousy TRUMP bashing by the envious and powerless LW's
Ed-Shullivan10 August 2017
This episode of SNL Weekend Update was filled with endless boisterous and real fake "canned laughter" that the SNL audience has become accustomed to. They didn't bother to show a real live audience because even the left wingers are tired of this same old, same old, so no one would have shown up even if they wanted to invite a live audience. I have heard more enlightenment and wittiness at church funerals than on this episode.

Eventually Colin Jost and Michael Che left the Trump bashing and attempted to disrespect the passing of 93 year old cookbook editor Judith Jones with a distasteful (no pun intended) reference to baking her at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. In this regard the acronym LOL should be interpreted as "Lots Of Loathing".

They capped off this episode with Leslie Jones dressed in gym attire but I was having a difficult time hearing what she was saying because I think the canned laughter was being released so frequently even before the so-called punch lines were delivered.

Obviously the focus was spent on fake news brief that mostly included just more dribble about the Trump family and/or his (former) staff members.

This was another boring episode of SNL on a Thursday night that I will never get back. If you missed it, congratulations, even if you spent your time constipated and sitting on the toilet your time was better spent than watching this crap.

I give it a 1/10 rating

Warning: Spoilers
I am glad SNL and NBC are giving us the show for a brief summer run. This was an authentic Weekend Update and that was actually part of the problem. Michael and Colin's jokes are either hit or miss and they were mostly miss tonight.

Kenan's LaVar Ball wasn't bad. He had the voice and the dialogue down, but Bill Hader's Anthony Scaramucci was terrible. I don't even think he watched a single interview or video of The Mooch before doing it. They just told him to go out and do a stereotypical Italian thug voice and that's what he brought.
