It was another great episode but what's going on with everyone's hair???

Smirfs is strangely pin straight and Derans curls are fresh off the iron...

Should have been s2 finale

Warning: Spoilers
I think this was just a wierd overall feeling for a premiere. I talked about how I feel about the death of Baz and I was right about him being Jay's father. I think this episode set a tight direction for a 5 season run. I found what Jay was doing meeting the black car and then the man there from the night Baz was shot extememly intriguing. Did something go over my head or did jay have something to do with that night? Perhaps that's why Lucy looked out the window at Jay while the brothers were hugging but the camera didnt pay attention to this it followed Jay's eyes as he looked at her walking.

Hes been preached to about the truth and not lying but his been manipulated from before the start as his mother warned him about them. He knows Smurf had to do with his mothers death. He knew baz was his dad. Maybe he did set something up. Regardless of I'm way off base, I love when shows cause me to think like this providing these kinds of scenes where they dont spoon feed you the answers.

The good news of all this episode is that officially Lena has a big brother in Jay!!! Well, half at least.

Insane drama!

An insane drama that keeps one coming back! This dysfunctional family is memorable. A little evil and a lot loyal to each other. I am a big fan.

Animal Kingdom: The Killing

Warning: Spoilers
TNT aired a special preview of "The Killing" Monday (5/28) night that may very well have been the same as Tuesday (5/29) night season opener: if so, since I watch episodes "back-to-back" (the same episode repeats immediately after a new one airs) I will have seen the opener three times in two days.

While it was great to see the preview, I can only hope that the 5/29 opener is slightly different, especially since a main character appears to be deceased. But maybe not.

Also, Cody in some ways is going to replace Baz this season and is already within Pope's sights for doing so: watch the main conflict to be between Cody & Pope for control of the outside family while Smurf's only chance is to roll on them all, which she might do.

The Killing

Warning: Spoilers
The show knew the perfect amount of how to stretch out the fate of what happened to Baz. Not too short, not too long.

His passing is unfortunate as there was so much story left to tell, but programs need big moments like this to establish the danger of what is going on.

A solid episode, even if the surfer ocean funeral was a little weird.
