A rather average war film

The war scenes are sort of disappointing, as it does not depict an impressive or memorable individual, which was achieved in Saving Private Ryan and Hacksaw Ridge. The drama part is also quite boring. Some scenes, plot and acting seem just contrived rather than natural. The makeup, production design and costume are acceptable.

Great cinematography and true story about the war in 1937 china versus japan; showing how the valiant peope of China fought bravely to defend their country - and not only with military force but also with communication, conflict resolution and international cooperation.
