When Amanda is deciphering President Mackenzie's speech, she deduces the President used Abraham Lincoln's King James Bible as her code source. She immediately asks if anyone in the newsroom has a Bible. Each Bible translation and printing has a unique set of page numbers, hence the scripture on page 814 in one particular Bible, for instance, would not be the same scripture in another.

The only way she could decode the speech would be to have the actual Lincoln Bible in hand.
President Mackenzie had already started delivering her speech that was being live telecast nationally. Why would she go to deliver a speech that has codes written all over it that Amanda is taking hours to decipher with the bible? It is not that the president would have been following the same steps that Amanda is taking - to find each word from the bible and then speak it. For that reason, why would she spend/ waste time for coding a speech that she was going to deliver in a few hours.
As soon as they have lifted the coffin from the grave, they should have realized that its weight is considerably less, so it is empty and the dead body is not there. Still, they bothered to lift that all the way up and out and reburied it.
Amanda is writing words from the bible on the late president's speech. It appears to be the original paper she received from the speechwriter. She should have taken a photocopy and worked on the photocopy instead of defiling the original. Thinking about this, the speechwriter should have given Amanda a photocopy of the speech and not the original.
