I liked this episode, but it could've been stronger. I felt that a lot of jokes in the main storyline didn't land. Plot-wise it did a very good job of questioning moral certainty and seeing the characters still struggle to be good people. And who wasn't awed by Eleanor's sacrifice for her friends. Great story points, just weak jokes. Also, Maya Rudolph's judge was a bit too flighty for my taste.
On the other hand, the subplot was solid. It was gratifying to see MIchael tell off his boss and express his new world view. The jokes also all landed here.
