Fantastic thriller.

I must say this show did surprise me. The story is really good and original for me. Has a lot of suspense, that if you are in to that you will enjoy this show. You have to wait until the end of the series to see what the real outcome is like.

I love it!

I have been living in Buenos Aires for 6 years now, I believe that El Jardin de Bronce paints a really accurate portrait of the city and the people living in it.

I got caught in the beautiful and sad pictures since the beginning. Joaquin Furriel as Fabian Dabubio makes an amazing job and great representation of a desperate father in a country where the police is more incompetent and corrupt than normal.

The only thing I didn't like is the final episode. I felt it was done too fast (it could have been done in two episodes) and it didn't represent the rest of the series. But anyway I love the series and I recommend it.

Amazing

The story is amazing. The way it was filmed and how it shows the stunning city of Buenos Aires is beautiful. It's a very well done story. It unfortunately shows how corrupted the police can be too. Once you start watching it you can't stop. I would recommend everyone to watch it. It's very worth it.

Disappointing

Warning: Spoilers
Unfortunately, it started well, although it is clear that Furiel did not make us feel the dispair of this father in search of his kidnapped daughter. Until the 5th chapter, it was not so noticeable but when we stopped counting with Luis Luque, the going down was notorious, losing all rhythm and mystery, becoming boring in spite of the contribution of excellent secondary players like Julieta Zylberberg and Daniel Fanego. Norma Aleandro did not contribute much which is really a waste. The end, cheesy, old-fashioned and without surprises. The narrating device of not following time linearly make the piece tiresome as it didn't success in adding any mystery or grip to the story.

The production of HBO was correct as they already have us accustomed and photography stood out for its care and artistic beauty, especially in the last 20 ' of the outcome.

A good story but with a serious casting problem...

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed this series but it really threw me for a loop when a gangly brown-eyed teenager (Cordelia) escaped from Rausch and then magically morphed into a mature 30 year old blue-eyed woman 4 years later!

Also, how did Cordelia/Lila meet Fabian? Did she travel straight to Buenos Aires with no money after left Rausch and immediately fall into the arms of Fabian and get married without him ever questioning the birth of their daughter (Moira)?

First season review
zadeereviews2 February 2021
It starts off well then it drags so much it take 14 years to end. As a viewer I didn't care much about the story at that point. Ending was whack.I honestly don't understand the high rating.

A great first season, A trashy 2nd season.
prashant-636771 October 2022
The first season was amazing. The first 6 episodes were absolutely amazing. Thrilling, riveting, full of twists..they kept me hooked. Then the show went downhill in episode 7. It was unbelievable and comic, even caricaturish in many ways. However in last episode the ending was ok and overall it was a very enjoyable, surprisingly good first season. Now, apparently after the unexpected success of first season the makers wanted to cash in. And i believe thats how a 2nd season came into being as an afterthought. It was terrible. It was so bad that one cant imagine its the same show. A stupid plot line, no connection is established with any character, no continuity in story...it was deplorable. The 6 points I have given are due to first season only..otherwise the 2nd season on its own is no more than a 2.
