Although action cinema in Mexico has always had the same theme (narcos or police vs. Narcos) I believe that this film is an evolution as such in the production of Oscar Lopez's cinema (which had been improving for some time). They went from poor quality movies to movies like this, which offer a lot of entertainment and better performances.
I believe that Mexican cinema has often had setbacks, but modern action cinema is definitely offering more than Mexican commercial cinema, which has a repetitive nature in the scripts and works they are presenting.
The film has better locations, a greater number of acting scenes, more plot and, above all, a few more well-done chase scenes. The story as such is good without more, offering entertainment with all the action that detonates from it. I think this is one of the best proposals for independent cinema in Mexico, I hope it continues to improve.
