Carmen Ibanez : Did you know there were Bugs on Mars too, Carl? And you just let it happen?
Carl Jenkins : Carmen, how could you even think such a thing?

Carl Jenkins : Very funny. But this is the war we can never stop fighting. The Bugs will never quit. And if we do, we're dead. For a few thousand years we humans enjoyed the relative peace of fighting amongst ourselves. And then we reached for the stars. I mean, what did we think would happen?
Johnny Rico : Well, thinking's your job, Carl. I'm the guy who follows orders.
Carl Jenkins : I like that. Now, go take back Mars from the Bugs will you, GENERAL Rico?
Johnny Rico : Yes, sir.
Carl Jenkins : [Looking at Carmen] What?
Carmen Ibanez : It's always good to see you, Carl.
