Attempt is Commendable

The message of this story in the eyes of the script writer is clear: we should respect each other's sexual drives because there is no shame in it. And he expounds this through different storylines, including 2 married couples, a gay couple, cousins, and a woman who's getting married the day after.

The stories are narrated in an easygoing way sans truly dramatic high points. The viewer tries to understand each of the characters, and he/she decides whether the message resonates in each story. But it feels superficial and you don't feel connected.

The film, however, has to be commended for its attempt to present a ticklish issue. Self-discovery, if it comes, is good for one's personal growth.

Well done Spain

Obviously not an American movie, they would never done it, too prude. The story is somehow believable and entertaining, not only that but the movie is funny and the ending truly is what it's mean to be.

It's not going to win an Oscar but it will make you laugh and cringe at some of the occurrences of the film.

Never seen the cast before but I am sure to check it out what else has the director writer made before this film.

I'm always game for a sex positive story but I'm equally wary about how obnoxious they can be.

As our stories interweave throughout this club (I need one near me, seriously) they paint a picture about how our sexuality isn't really good or bad; you just need to have an emotional honesty with yourself and all other relevant individuals.

By turns, intriguing, sophomoric, bawdy and thoughtful, the one storyline not involved with the club is very disharmonious and is soured by a sort of smugness as well intentioned people seem to suffer.

The storyline of the cousin was so almost handled impeccably but they had to blow the subtlety.

To be honest I mostly watched to see if it would be the soft-core erotica I hoped it would be and asides from one fine pair of mini-lolas approaching the bar, it isn't.

Hard to see it through to the end

There is no word that can define how bad this movie is, incoherent, awkward and without coherence.

It reminded me of the worst times of Almodóvar where everything was focused on sex.

This movie, like many others from Spain, relies on a lot of nudity and on screen sex to sell it. It falls flat. After 20 minutes it went straight into the basurero!

The more the merrier or... where two meet .. in spanish. Club Paradiso in spain, where you leave your feelings behind, according to their slogan. It's all about pleasure. A swingers club! And apparently, this lady who is to be married was here last night, and lost her engagement ring. So it's a treasure hunt to try and find it. One guy in a suit and tie says he doesn't want to be here, but he never seems to leave. It's a nutty night, and there's no real plot. Kind of like the ritz... its a night out at the sex club. A whole lot of boobs. Doesn't seem to be rated, since it's on netflix. Kissing and simulated sex. But about halfway through, everyone starts talking. And discussing. An emotional connection instead of sexual. Class, what have we learned here tonight? Its good. Directed by paco caballero.

I just finished it and I still don't know which is the story behind. It's not about sexual liberation, something that happened many years ago in the developed countries, it's not about the free love, not funny situations. A complete waste of time... Another Netflix movie.

No La Revolucion Sexual but it's fine

An R-rated version of Shortbus. It's impossible to reach total abandon like in that movie since the actors are quite well-known. The first name on the credit even didn't lose his clothing until the final and mid-credit scene.

Multiple plotlines don't reach its full potential even though it could. However the movie is still a good time, the movie feels effortless in what seems to be an awkward filming lol.

Nothing compaired with the trailer

There must be laws against the movie trailer makes that generate high expectations hiding mediocre stories.

It happens with this movie announcing it as the trigger for a sexual revolution and ends up being nothing more than the dramatization of a moralistic pamphlet speech.

No, despite the fact that it seems that they are trying to break the good customs and questioning monogamy, their libretto is a soap opera (it could be a typical Mexican TV drama). After all, the performances are fake, misdirected and tedious.

If you want to waste your time, watch it. If you want to be bored, watch it. If you want to put it on kitchen screen meanwhile you wash the dishes, watch it.

Bonkers but great fun

Like many Spanish films, this is weirdly bonkers. But once you get past halfway it all comes together nicely and you find yourself caring for all the characters and their romantic outcomes.

Make sure ur conservative family members are out of the room. Coz, yes this movie is about SEX! And different people have different approaches to that.

They probably tried to cramp a little bit too much in there, but is it fun!

It is about explorations and intrigue in a classy sex club.

There's a few storylines that intertwine to say so. There's a swingers story line that is probably the most entertaining and might have a few people question their own explorations, jeje. There is also a gay storyline which is not so great as it is totally unrealistic and super cringe to see guys having a full fledged convo considering the location. And there is also a fiancee looking for more than herself. Also a bit weird considering the location, but the movie is overall entertaining. We should probably have more movies exploring topics like this. Maybe a part II. Yes please.

Disgusting

Lesson of the movie: Forget your morals, and become a wild pig. Have sex with everyone/everything you're into. It dosent matter if your wedding is on the next day, if you have a family, if it's your close relative. Just do it! This is the solution! At least this is what most of the protagonists of the movie show you.

If at some point of the movie, you find yourself wishing for the ceiling to collapse on the protagonists. Don't worry! You're a good person!

Very forced. Not very funny. Incest promotion. The movie seems to have forgotten boundaries.

Was difficult to watch till the end. Had high hopes for the movie, but ruined the mood completely!

I love European movies because there's usually no taboos. I was pretty excited about this one, it's sex and that's it...it's just a movie to have fun and relax and enjoy with your partner. However one thing on the movie completely turned me off: the cousins. Cmon...that's a bit excessive. No matter how open minded you are that just felt very awkward like incest type of thing. Could be a 10 if it weren't for that.

Disgusting and silly

The message in the movie is somewhat okay but the execution is terrible and painful to watch. The incest plot was outright disgusting. The gay plot was at least properly acted.

The movie seems to rely on the formula of nudity and sex but without any substance or class in it. Even the sex is shot/shown aesthetically.

Let's talk about you and me ... let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be ... let's talk about ... well the more the merrier I reckon, yes? Because this movie is about intercourse ... it is about the most fun thing or pasttime we can have. Ok one of the most fun, I'm not trying to take anything away from any other fun activity you consider even a better use of your time.

That being said, there are a lot of taboos that are being touched upon here (no pun intended). And not just the obvious not being faithful to your partner - but also sexuality in itself. Like who loves whom - really inclusive. Not just heterosexual relationships then, but homosexual ones as well.

That may be something you do not want to engage on or with - and it is ok, if that is not something you want to see or deal with. As long as you are ok, with others doing what they love and not shaming anyone for anything. Add to that some humor and you could do worse ... this is fun. Despite some heavy themes ... and while it is quite sexual, I am not sure how titilating this will feel for some. It is more about furthering stories and getting somewhere with the characters it establishes, rather than ... coming (bad pun? Or along the humor of the movie? You decide)

The film is correct at first, but it's still lacking to average, it doesn't stand out with anything, it's not very emotional. It is much more toned down and censored, in fact we can see two women showing their breasts as well as their face in the first part and towards the end. The lesbian sex is blurred (a vague image, as if through a fog) in the background, and we see one of the main characters in the foreground. Then we only see a woman's breasts as she kisses another woman, thus obscuring her face. The two main characters are caught at the end of sex as they hug each other in such a way that we see one's back and the other's face only. The rest of the actors also have their genitals obscured, for example, by covering up sex thanks to a shirt. The two women who have sex with their boyfriends obscure their breasts with their hands. In fact at the end there is the most excitement when we can see the actors half naked which saves the film, most of the time it is talking and kissing. No complete nudity of the actors is shown.

But this is part of the whole plan of Netflix to impose homosexuality.

There was absolutely nothing new or relevant visual or ideological. The characters bearly had real storylines. The comedy wasn't strong either. I wish the human connections and human relations among the characters were stronger and more real. If you are looking for 90 minutes of a bunch of people trying to have some sort of epiphany while having sex with each other this is for you. Too bland for a comedy and too silly for a drama. The monologue at the end where the host explains "sexual liberation" was dated and weak. First cousins having sex with no regrets? Not my cup of tea. A true waste of some great actors and a plot that could serve more than lost people and a lot of naked buts.

Best movie with amazing message on Netflix

One of the best bold movies on Netflix. The message at the end of the movie is so true and relatable.

We should (most of the times) skip the conventional rules that our society has created and enjoy our fantasies, desires without any hesitation (because that's what geniune happiness is all about).

Best movie. I give 10/10.

Provocative

Movie is full of lust but surprisingly nobody hurts any other one. This is very encouraging for people not to cheat.

The mama of the swinger house once says that people comes to find answers but they can't find, instead answers find them sometimes.

One more thing about the exes meet in the swinger house. The lady ex didn't like the idea of living a stable, boring life so that she dumped her ex but also annoyed about her current life which is full of sex with thousands dicks and vags. What was she looking for? Movie leaves it to be figured out by audience.

The last manifesto was unnecessary and was promoting ethical non-monogamous relationships one sided. No body shouldn't need to glorify their life style on any others. That wasn't good though.

Worth to watch.

Let say there's many character that I can't catch up like who's the main character. I'm mainly interested in a group 4 people in the house they play games truth or dare and it's enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately there's some more scenario that I can't wrap my head around, example there's suddenly dramatic part like who are they and why they even matter in this movie what role they're playing.

Another minute it show bar scene and now there's people in the house fast forward to another scene there's argument. There's specific scene that is interesting and some scene just okay but I play phone and totally lost interest in most the scene. It has flaws but I can appreciate it it was fun to watch just people living their sexual desire.

The vocalist of ''frankie goes to hollywood'' sang at the end of the track called ''welcome to the pleasuredome''(Direct! ) in 1984, and that lgbtq+ inspired song from back then really matches the contents of this novel spanish netflix production.

The swing is back they also said in 1984, which meant that i quite reluctantly had to attend a refresher course on the dancefloor with my adorable mother back then, ''swing '' is the keyword of this film too, with all the kinds of delightful lays and sexual preference for each and everyone at the club, a swingers club.

Yes its sex, it oozes sexuality in a way that made the grumpy old man breath heavier than usual with a mouth getting dryer and drier from gawping of how daring and colourfilled this extravagant spanish pink/black comedy film production about your most lusciouss wishes is my command and where infidelity is thrown to kingdome come of lust and common sexual fantasies, delightfully acted and scripted , watching the top of the toppers of grave serious spanish actors guild throw their bodily nylon and cotton garments, into the flames of matchbox do or dare ''when you wish upon a star'' staring seniors dinner party games(watch the film and youll understand) is really laughing out loud worthy an award from the dead cold cultural reviewers.

My spouce pawing the floors due to a broken back, did also feel the extraordinary sensations tingling tantalizingly behind her ears, watching the show upside down with her legs in a high position in the recliners seat, so therefore a complete and sincere recommend to this marvel of floating filmatography and ever so dilating groovy and edible musical score, its pupil pinpoint retracted film and sound editing and its immorale' indespicabliamentables, that makes the same bang as the viagra does to others....not for adolecents, merely and marrily for grown ups and piers like me...the bored and excrutiangly adultrous demented spineless grumpy old man,...or just watch it and beat the bait for whatever its worth, in many cases i guess you will race the highway to bed.
