- The licker is a mutated creature that crawls on all fours, has an exposed brain, and uses its long tongue or sharp claws to kill people. One person is killed by it before it is taken out.
- A few jumpscares from zombies suddenly appearing in frame. The shooting inside the mansion is the most intense and scary part of the movie.

- A man in a prison cell is bitten by a zombie in the neck, and blood sprays heavily from the wound. Very bloody scene.
- An infected dog is beaten to death with a fire extinguisher.
- A man injects himself with the virus and gradually mutates in a gory way into a beast.
- A girl attacks a creature from behind and after a struggle, she ends up tearing its head in half at the jaw with some graphic detail.
