The parody of "All the Presidents Men" was magical

Every little nuance from that movie was instantly recognized by me. I had to pause and re-watch because I missed what was being said due to my laughter. The makers of this episode should be very happy with their achievement.

I think its on a par with my favourite episodes of my favorite shows.

Incredibly witty dialog, writing, staging, incidental music, guest stars - just a dream episode.

Well done

Day 492

Warning: Spoilers
The Good Fight had a very strong second season. Was the Trump theme too much at times? Yes, especially the "PP Tape" episode, but based on the final few moments it looks like that will be less prevalent next season.

It had the right mix of comedy and legal drama. A little ridiculous to think Diane's case would just be dropped because one lawyer/agent was fired, but I think it was best to move on from that story.

A solid ending to a high quality second season.

Day 492. While I would have given a fantastic review ..

.. this one was dinged by the absent mindedness of having Maia texting away while driving and speeding madly to the hospital as Lucca is about to give birth to her baby. This particular segment of the episode is ridiculous on many levels. First, the fact that these are lawyers I would hope they would try to show some respect to the law. Second, considering the many public service announcements in recent years reminding all of us about the vast numbers of people that die driving while texting the writers/ producers could have made an effort to have them rush but do so safely. Lucca's arms weren't broken and she could have easily texted any message. In fact there could have been a brief moment acknowledging this terrible habit that causes so many deaths by having her say to Maia "Give me the phone and I'll text because I want to get to the hospital alive." Lastly, these are modern well educated women but this panicked response to giving birth reminds me more of the 1950's Lucy and Ethel shows. It actually made me angry that they were portrayed like this.

The labor room scene was ludicrous, the foul language only highlighted the writer's desperate attempt for edge. The over acting and bellowing take away any story credibility. I have no urge to wallow in S3 with the 'Friends" titles. Apparently this was a one season wonder. It really has left a bad taste in my mouth.
