Good Episode

I loved most of the jokes in this one, while the ending was kind of a cop-out though, I thought the plot of Roger and Klaus dating was funny.

American Dad is one of those shows that don't go super far all the time, but when they do, they take it to the extreme. This is probably one that I would not recommend showing to others if they are new to the show, there are some kinda "disturbing" scenes. The animators were having a field day here. Apart from what I just said, this isn't a bad episode, in fact it's an overall decent episode. The Steve storyline was definitely a simple funny one, alongside Hayley's pinkeye gag. The highlight of the episode for me was definitely the solitary confinement scene. Roger just losing his mind was absolutely hilarious.

Overall, good episode. The Klaus and Roger dating thing was funny, but at times a little unsettling, while the Steve plot was a worthy side plot, with a small third plot about Hayley's pink eye bringing some laughs.

This is one of those episodes where if you are a big American Dad fan you enjoyed it and if not you probably did. A lot of the humor revolved around finding Steve's little quirks and shenanigans funny. I did, and as someone who remembers the Presidential Fitness Test, that premise rang true for me.

What a great and perfect way to honor the ending of the episode 1600 Candles! I knew after watching that episode there was only a matter of time before American Dad made an episode that tried out the dynamic shown at the end of that episode (which they did here) and it was very well done!

Canonizing a ship that the fandom has came up with? South Park Did It! South Park Did It! They did it in season 19, and American Dad seems too desperate to pull off the same stunt!
