Another Hit from Yang Mi!
jaybizman22 September 2020
Mi is spoiling us with her latest endeavor, a follow on from hit The Interpreter. This time she plays the gregarious manager of a Chinese commercial Negotiation Business and has to battle not only a sly and jealous colleague, but the arrogant scion of a wealthy New York based Chinese owned development firm, who after 100 years in the USA, the Chairman (his father) wants to relocate the company back to Shanghai, mainland China.

As you can imagine from a Rom-Com, the pair begin as antagonists but after a lengthy battle of mind and wits, the ending is pre-ordained. There are many twists and turns and The Chairman of the Board is subject to a hostile takeover, from an internal source, but the 'twosome' eventually see eye to eye. If you liked The Interpreter you will again love Yang Mi in a similar type of role. Well worth your time.
