I remember watching this Japanese drama a year ago and really enjoying it. I was very emotionally invested with the story it was telling and the characters, especially the main lead. Overall, it's a tragic story with an equally tragic ending but it never felt too overly melodramatic to me (which is why I prefer Japanese over Korean shows for the most part). The story was told beautifully and tastefully. I was honestly crying by the last episode. Beautiful soundtrack/score too that went well with the tone of the drama.
