Solid and Interesting episode

Warning: Spoilers
First all,Lucifer was pretty funny and well portrayed on this episode, long time i didn't see him interesting; Now,the episode was very interesting from the beginning till the end,all the cards of the table were used and well played, except for Jack that is still missing, but we got all the others to fill the "blank",Michael and Kevin were also great, with the alternate kevin also being well portrayed,Michael being the pain in the ass the he's always been, now with a plan to go to the original universe and reality, which means:PROBLEM!

Anyways,we got Ketch too, even though i don't like the character,he's something the show can make good use of,i'll give 8,5 for this episode, very interesting, the previous episode,Tombstone was also interesting, this season is going in a good direction, despite the ratings..

Has no identity beyond a collection of mythos scenes
CubsandCulture16 July 2021
One of the things that the later seasons of the show did that I found off-putting was getting bogged down in the season long arcs and/or world building episodes. For much of the first several years (this tendency got really noticeable in season 8, became really bad post season 11) the show managed to be more of an anthology with each episode being largely self-contained. Even in say season 5 each horseman episode was a story onto itself. But that isn't the case with a lot of the mythos episodes in the final ~1/3rd of the show.

This episode is a token of the type of thing what I mean. There is no story in this episode-instead it is a few different plot developments in the season long plot-i.e. Lucy comes back. And while individual scenes can be amusing, i.e. Lucy-Cas in the bar; the overall hour feels like padding and treading water because nothing really starts or finishes.

Ketch? Why? There was no one else to bring back? I was relieved with the BMOL plotline ended so I don't need any more of him. Also not interested in a Lucifer made to seem sympathetic. Let's set up some new plots here instead of constantly returning to the past.
