Great episode, but...

The episode was great, but I'm getting tired of DeVoe and his rhetoric. It's been the same episode after episode for a while now. Team flash come up with a plan, DeVoe is there first and so on and so on. Like I said the episode was good, but it's long past time for The DeVoe storyline to end.

Ok, Thinker... Cool... But kick his ass already, it's getting old.

I have become sick and tired of the Thinker storyline. I know they have to stretch this out for a season but come on. Not to mention STOP KEEPING SECRETS FROM EVERYONE! They call themselves a family so it makes me wonder what kind of families the writers were raised in to think this is how ADULT family members interact? I may not tell my sister how I REALLY feel about her but if I had a horrible medical condition she would find out before the newspapers.

Devo is one of the worse supervillains of all time. And now that his final plan is revealed, he is now a cartoon villain. His goal, to make everyone stupid to stop people from being violent?? Yes...very stupid evil genius. Moronic actually...I wish the season would have played more on that thinking cap, and how It affected H into becoming more or less the same as Devo...that would have been a much better season. I think Devo killed the flash. No way another season is coming after this one. It was just too dumb.

From episode 15 ''enter the flashline'' Im noticing more and more emotional and meaningful dialogues. I personally would like to see a come back with Ralf to balance Flash cause he seems to carry so much pain into his shoulders.

First Danny Trejo and now Jessica Camacho! I hope they move on with the stories instead of giving lovey-dovey relationships of the side actors. I like it when Neil Sandilands says, "the best of ideas by the smartest of men of having a way of being corrupted." My ratings (based on what I marked on IMDb): Season 1: 200/23 = 8.69 Season 2: 193/23= 8.23; Season 3: 188/23= 8.17; and Season 4: 133.5/20= 6.68 (This episode = 7/10)

The break up episode! Gypsy breaks up with Cisco and Marlize's backstory is revealed. It's also revealed that DeVoe's been brainwashing Marlize in a Kinda disturbing scene. I really like this episode! It's not like the best or anything, Marlize's flashbacks are a little hard to believe, but it's pretty solid. The fights against DeVoe are pretty cool. This episode is very important for not only the season, but the show. Marlize's betrayal of Clifford has heavy impact later on, especially in the finale. This is a solid, flawed, but solid little episode that changed the season for the better.

Absolutely monotonous and predictable. Like other recent episodes, team flash tries to stop Devoe but he is always one step ahead of them and kicks their butts in another repetitive fight.

Are We Done Yet?

It's become a chore to review this show from week to week. In all honesty, since the "Enter Flashtime" episode about 5 or 6 weeks back, this show has been trash. Certainly not as bad as the lows Arrow has experienced this year, but this season has become a bland mess with too many characters to know what to do with. Will it recover the last 3 weeks? I highly doubt it.

This week tackled the end of Gypsy and Cisco's sweet but ultimately wasted relationship, teased a future speedster/mystery girl related to the Allen's/West's, and the ever convoluted plan of The Thinker. Marlize made a step forward in her long-time coming redemption, but the show certainly didn't make any notable step forwards. At least, not enough for me to waste any more time talking about it. That's all I got.

DeVoe continues to murder and murder and murder! And every loss of life falls squarely on Barry Allen's weepy shoulders! Thinker would be dead by now except The Flash is too self righteous to end the life of a serial killer!

...and THAT could be the title of every episode this season. I swear, Barry and Team Flash are the biggest morons among superheroes of all time.

Spoiler (but not really) for any show this season: DeVoe tries to acquire another meta human. Team Flash thinks they can one-up him, they go in TIME AND TIME AGAIN without a contingency plan, and they fail. A few innocent people die in the process, and then Barry tells someone "I'll protect you," which is absolute assurance that said person will be killed in an episode or two. I wanted to like this show, but it is dreadful. Was a huge fan of the '90-91 series with John Wesley Ship, but I don't know how this show can be saved with such an inept protagonist.

One more week. One more failure

Hey let"s make Barry stupid and Team Flash a bunch of idiots for 22 episodes. Let's make the bad guy kick their asses again and again and again for 22 episodes.

But wait.

Here comes episode 23 and Barry will be mighty again and wooohooo Flash will win.

Or not. Who cares anymore?
