It seems a long time ago when season 2 opened with the President of the United States, the First Lady and several other world leaders were being held hostage at a world summit in New York City by a terrorist group called the Citizens Liberation Front.

The season morphed to a dark satire on the Trump presidency. Unelected President Roarke's Collaborators have always been one step ahead of our heroes. Now with the Constitutional Convention around the corner, the new amendment to the Constitution is likely to pass. Thwarted once again they have a final throw of the dice, fight dirty and get intelligence that Roarke and his people have been misusing. It means going to the source, the person who is gathering the information.

It was an over the top, silly and fun finale. I am convinced that season 2 did not progress as intended.

Quantico. Quantico. What Happened?

I remember when this used to be a very good show in the first half of season 1. Everything episode was filled with jaw-dropping and thrilling moments. The show has gone far downhill by now. This season opened with many burning questions and promising stories, but watching this this finale totally let me down because the show just threw all those unanswered mysteries in the trash and failed to exploit side narratives. Instead of digging deep into the story, the show is using shocking twists every episode to keep viewers watching. Moreover, the storyline this season goes very slow: stuck in Crisis Zone for 13 episodes, and now, all the way to the finale, the mix of political and complicated aspects get me confused how this is all going. Overall the finale is fine, but just not enough to fill our expectations.

Really lame Warning: Spoilers
So after being three times smarter and four steps ahead of the team for the entire season Roarke eats a bullet. That was really a lame ending. He could have survived the scandalous transmission at the convention. Heck, he was super smart for 21 episodes, he should have been able to spin it to his benefit and kept moving forward. But, I guess the writers couldn't come up with something plausible and/or believable so they took the easy way out.
