Dumbest show I've ever seen, watched 1 episode and will never watch again. Host sucks, game sucks, completely pointless. 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. This is my first review ever of a show online, that is how bad the show is. I finally had enough of poor shows coming out, and this one tops the list. So I finally decided to write a review.

Literally the worst show I have seen on TV. At one point when they made the guest go into the penalty booth during his story, I got douche chills. Who thought this is a good idea? I would like to meet the person though thought its a good idea to spend money on this show. I would think anything less than firing that person is not enough.

I didn't know what to expect, but I saw Wanda and the lead judge on Colbert and decided to give it a go. I LOVE this show. It is funny, daring, and really smart. Celebs get a chance to have fun and be competitive and the show does a really amazing job of making fun of how polished and boring late night has become. I don't understand where these negative reviews are coming from? I can't really think of a bad thing about the show other than I wish there were more!

The fact that I took 10 minutes of my time to create an account out of my life to review I've a show I've only watched for 22 min. should emphasize how sour of a taste this show left. I've literally have stopped watching TRU.TV because I can't even stand the commercials for this show.... Based on other reviews i'm not alone.

I really enjoy this show a ton! I love the people you have on and especially loved Nico, Wanda, and Lauren! I also love the the host! Plus you gotta love Mr.s Ritchfield!!! Keep this show going! Lots of my friends like it too!!

This is a humorous take on talk shows, reminding me of nothing so much as a wackier version of Dick Cavett in the 70s. Very enjoyable. Despite having a rules structure it seems LESS formulaic than the typical late night series of well-rehearsed anecdotes. I discovered the show from being a fan of Guy Branum's stand-up--he really commits his energy and devotion to pop culture.

I have never in my life seen a TV show that made me genuinely mad, annoyed, and upset. I made this IMDb account just to give this review. So, what kind of idiots took this idea into consideration?? It couldn't have been truTV, they're one of the best stations on television. I don't know why they would pick this awful show up. I hope it gets canceled ASAP. I don't even want to see the annoying commercials. Don't bother watching this awful excuse for a show, watch something else until Impractical Jokers comes on. PLEASE, truTV, DROP THIS SHOW!!!

A friend told me to check out this show, but I had never seen anything on TruTv before. I watched it on a wing and a prayer, and I really enjoyed it. Like really really. It kept my attention (which not much does these days) and made me laugh out loud (also not much does that lately). I'm officially a fan! Guy Branum is unlike anything I've seen before and I realized I actually own Casey Schreiner's book?! Also, I listen to My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff... so maybe I was predisposed to be a fan of the show? Good job to TruTV for making something so forward thinking and original. It got me started on other TruTV shows that I really like now, too.

I cannot put into words how bad this show is. It's a talk show where guests get evaluated by name dropping, telling a personal tidbit, and other things. Occasionally the "judge" will interrupt with inane comments such as "Excessive name dropping." The guests aren't even themselves and just act as show monkeys for the judge. They get points by the judge, and the winner gets some cheap prize like a bike.
Whoever green lighted this needs a mental health evaluation. It's not even a fun bad; it's an annoying bad. I get that Tru maybe feels pressure not to replay Impractical Jokers and Carbonaro Effect all day and night, but shows this bad should never, ever, see the airwaves. Imagine taking the worst SNL skit you've ever seen and making a weekly series out of it. I don't want to belittle the host because I don't know what human is capable of making this show watchable.
Tru, please acknowledge this is a dud and cancel it ASAP. Viewers, do not waste a second of your life watching this.

I wasn't sure if saying this was the worst show ever would be considered a spoiler but if anyone saw the commercials for it they likely figured that out already. This show just really sucks. There doesn't appear to be anything improptu, just completely (and poorly) scripted. The jokes are dumb and terribly stale. Guy has this annoying fake laugh which has zero authenticity. Can't believe this dude has a show and that anyone would go on it! Saw episode where "celebrity" won a grill and says "Good thing I'm a lesbian so I know how to grill." Hardy har har. Don't waste your time with this.

I'm not sure where to begin with this show. The concept is okay, but the execution is horrible. Why is the host interrupting with answers that aren't relevant or funny? It's a chore to watch, literally, I was dared to watch this crap. I don't blame the host or judge, I blame the idiots who greenlit this show. I've pitched better TV shows to my teacher for a middle school project with no knowledge of how the entertainment business works. Is TruTv really struggling that much? I'll send them 12 ideas over a weekend if that's the case, but this show is a dud and is doing a disservice to those in the industry who have taken the time to pitch ideas to maybe MTV or ABC but couldn't because more popular shows needed that airtime. This is a horrible idea and never should have been taken seriously by the producers. Bring back CourtTv reruns and save your money producing this garbage.

Love this show! Not sure why people hate it...Have seen MUCH more obnoxious hosts (STEVE HARVEY!). Intelligent and hilarious. And everyone seems to have fun. Yes,penalty box can be a pain, but it's all in fun! People just don't get the joke!!! It should be on more often, can rarely find it!!

First of all let me say, this show is so terrible it's disgusting. The tv was left on when I was in the next room. I overheard this really creepy sound that brought me back to my childhood, when my brother would force me to watch PeeWee Herman. I came in the room to see why such a show would be playing again, only to be disgusted that its a real human making this sound. Also I would like to mention, the host, Guy, is so bad at hosting. It's like watching a high school freshman interviewing someone for the first time in their journalism class. Please make it stop!

I was introduced to Guy Branum via Seeso's Debate Wars and found him completely hilarious. I've only seen the first 3 episodes of Talk Show, and for me they've cemented the show as an offbeat, postmodern late-night revival, and I must say I'm loving a non- straight male host!!! This cannot be said enough. Tiffany Haddish's Groupon story deserves an Emmy nomination. I find the concept of the show really avant-garde in that it turns the late night trope onto its head. It makes the interviews more fun, and the guests themselves interact with each other in true comedic genius ways. I've loved every minute so far - PLEASE don't let this be another cancelled gem!

When you combined a talk show and a game show and you combined a messed up, mean spirited mess called talk show the game show, the host is idiotic, the game sucks, the writing is disaster and the only thing that saves this piece of trash from being number #1 on the list of the worst of 2017 is the beautiful set, otherwise nothing is good that coming out of this show

Original and hilarious. For those giving the bad ratings, they just don't understand it. The show has a ton of followings for people who get it. Keep up the great work truTV bringing real comedy back to television. Guy is the perfect host for a show that's somewhat scripted but the best part is when the show just goes off the rails. The games they play are fun the way they poke fun at promotions is even funnier. Like any TV show you might have an episode or two that is not hysterical but for the most part most of the shows are absolutely funnier than hell. Haters go away.

I'm not the type to create an account nor leave a review usually, but I can't stand seeing the low rating on a great program. Looking at the other reviews, it seems that the satirical and mocking nature of the program went over their heads when making their judgment. The host and judges are all comedians and writers that have worked in the television industry for a long time and understand the drivel that occurs on talk shows. When there is an interview on a regular talk show, that guest is there for a purpose. They often need to plug a project and, to draw appeal to their work, to seem interesting enough to the viewer. A bell ding for a point scored on this satirical show is equivalent to the ding in a publicist's head when they hear their client nailing the right talking point. This show is too good to be canceled because people are reviewing it without context. It is the closest thing the US has right now to the great comedic panel shows in the UK and showcases the ingenuity of a lot of American comedians.

This show sucks so bad. The host and his laugh is too loud for me. And, the whole meaning of the show is extremely pointless and so not funny. My only guess that this show is still fping on is that the owners of TRUtv are using this show as a tax write off.

This show takes all the fun parts of late night talk shows and eliminates all the boring stuff. The nonsensical questions in the lightning round are hilarious. Love all the bell ringing when the guests accumulate their points. Funny concept, and Guy is a big ray of sunshine. Go watch this now if you need a good laugh or something to cheer you up.
