Legion is a incredible show period
Br4ve-trave1or18 June 2018
This is the lowest score I have given to an episode of legion and the second one this far into it with 2 more episodes left until the season is over.

I was so reluctant to watch this series because I was misled by the negative reviews. I should have known better that when a TV series is critically acclaimed but divisive and the type of reviews it has---that this particular series was reaching out for the TV viewer that Noah Hawley shaped and molded this vehicle to reach its destination....the mind!

Like things in life, when you dont understand something you'll question it and/or not like it or accept it. This series receives unfair reviews from people testing the depths of the water. Stay in the shallow end because if you cant see a story and plot taken place each episode, then theres too many shiny and colorful objects distracting you! I disagree with anyone that says this show is bizarre or stylistic for it's own sake.

This episode just proved theres more substance than style!! This was a visceral episode but behind the smoke and mirrors it was just a simple little episode preparing the set up for the final two, at least that's what I feel.

David touched their heads and this episode we're seeing where he sends them to help him. We see fantastic scenes between Oliver and his lonely string out love. (I love how the drug use was incorporated by using smoke coming out it's all so aesthetic). I loved the girl poking the ceiling to with the umbrella to give it that feeling. It all adds up to provide a tingle effect in my mind that's what this show does. That's what sets it a part. No show can do what this show does!

Again in the early parts of this episode it asks a lot of deep meaning questions and thats been the theme of season 2 really. About what is real and many worlds theory was applied to that Paul Thomas Anderson feel episode.

How can anyone dislike this season with Hamm narrating episodes dropping profound knowledge that is so stimulative for the brain but also hints at what this show may be about or asking us to entertain these thoughts when viewing this show and applying them. It's so incredible and it's not a show for the smart. Its not a pretentious series at all. It's just for people that like to think when they watch TV. They like to be challenged. They love the fact that they're not interested in their phones because the show is super engaging. That's what it feels like.

But Legion fans or I may be criticized because I happen to love something produced and presented this way that I really get. I'm tired of simple shows it's been done to death. This show allows me to have fun knowing that when I prepare to watch it I have to be awake and in my creative imaginative mood.

Lastly, this show inspires me as a writer and for that I love it!!! Any show or movie that is a muse and gives me inspiration to write better I love!

I'm sorry if my passion for a high quality show is not helpful for you. But if you're looking to see if this episode is good, I would say it defintely is good and advances the plot forward but in this episode, like this review, a bit slow. This episode is more to set up the next. I'll take all the legion I could, though.

One of the best HQ TV Series

Even though this is not one of the best episodes and is kinda slow this series still better than the cringy soap opheras of CW that has better ratings and viewership by weak minded teenagers that just want the same mediocrity script, acting, plot and directing all over again instead of something original and unique like this if you're not a little boy give this series a chance to be renewed to season 3!

Currently questioning why my love for the show
b_trought31 May 2018
Season 1 of Legion was GREAT! The visuals, use of sound and music, the quirky story, everything added up to produce an innovative show with an interesting story arc and interesting characters. The wait between episodes was excruciating and then soooo rewarding! I can't recommend it highly enough.

Season 2 though is ... meh... or maybe just disappointing! The visuals and music are still excellent. The character development and individual arcs are still interesting, but there are some major pacing issues. After a decent start, we've spent the last four episodes covering plot points that really could have been covered in one episode. It's almost as if the substance of the show has taken a back seat to the style of the show. It's become so that I wonder if the writers have a clear vision of where the season is going.

I know I'll finish watch the rest of the episodes in the season, but I doubt I'll tune in for season 3, if there is one.

Visualy stunning, but...

I am a big fan of the show, but somehow I'm kinda unsatisfied with the balance of vivid scenes and actual plot progression in the last episodes. I can only enjoy the stunnishing atmosphere for so long - at some point I just need more substance. I am still looking forward to the last episodes.

Plot ignored by writers, every episode this season!

Psychedelic, weird, meaningless to the plot episode, again. All season 2 has been wasted on a writer's failed experiment.

Don't believe the click farm laughably disproportionate 10 stars each episode gets - this series is crap!
