A rather enchanting Russian animated short made in collaboration with Vietnamese animators and writers, adapted from Vietnamese folklore.
I remember seeing it back then in the nineties, as one of the chapters from the series "Stories from my Childhood": It was one of my favorite animations from that series, as it featured a very unusual type of fairytale, portraying a heavenly being as a rather flawed, very human-like type of character, able to commit irresponsible mistakes.
As usual, the animation was quite flawless, with a rather lovely use of colors and lots of fluid movements; a quite delightful watching experience from beginning to end.
