Roman believes that Shepherd gave him the drug "Zip" because shortly afterwards, a confused and dazed Roman asked Jane who did this to him. Jane lied and told him that Shepherd had given him the drug and erased his memory.

Roman said Shepard erased his memory. That's a big Oops, since Jane did it.
