The dancing. Classic MJ. No one can dance like him. No one can move like him.

Great directing for this short film. The video has a great message and choreography. It's another classic by the King of Pop.

The video will live on forever. God art never dies. This is as good as it gets. Fantastic. A blessing to witness.

OMG. The choreography and dancing of this short film are truly on another level of iconic. Great video and song with an also important message. Not to forget that iconic red jacket he wore. This man was talented in another level.

The King of Pop

It's hard to believe Beat It is nearly 40 years old, yet it's timeless and pure Michael Jackson, the King of Pop for sure. The song is unforgettable, and so is the video. It's not surprising Beat It has 2K user votes in IMDb.

great job

Admirable choreography. Great sound. The unique Michael Jackson. And the fair storytelling. A classic. And little more because, reflecting the spirit of a period, it remains fresh message sender about social tensions and the universe of young people.

Regardless of what you think about the song, it's difficult to like the video Warning: Spoilers
Here we have the music video for the Michael Jackson song "Beat It" and at 5 minutes only, it is definitely one of MJ's shorter videos. The writer and director here is Bob Giraldi and he worked with the artist on other occasions too and was a prolific music video director in general. Jackson was in his mid-20s when he appeared here back in 1983, so this one has its 35th anniversary next year. The song is fairly catchy, no denying. Not sure about the depth or meaningfulness, but it is certainly good to listen to i would say. The music video is pretty meh though. Honestly this routine between fighting and dancing is a bit on the cringeworthy side the way it is depicted here and also with Jackson as the mediator restoring peace and music I believe it takes itself way too seriously. Sadly, this criticism applies to many Michael Jackson videos and while his musical talent is undeniable, it is tough to appreciate the visual side here because of aspects like the one I just mentioned. As a whole I give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended unless you are a huge MJ fan, but as such you'd have seen this video a long time ago already, wouldn't you?
