Rum (2017): Horror film makers of Indian Cinema can be classified in to two categories.1)Those who can make genuine horrors like Maya,Pizza,Pisaasu etc.2)Those who believe in horror comedy but fails successfully in both the aspects like Aranmanai,Raju Gari Gadhi etc..Which category does Rum belong??There is np surprise in it as Rum successfully got a place in 2nd category and also in Worst Films of 2017 list too..
Plot: A group of high-tech thieves runs away after a heist. They hide out in an old house, only to find that the house is haunted.
Plus Points: 1)Vivek: Kollywood Star Comedian Vivek is the only person who did what we expect from him.Even though his one liners go overboard sometimes,his decent performance is the one which looked normal in this over-clichéd so called horror.
Minus Points: Except Vivek,there is not a single point that helps this movie from sinking.Sai Bharath failed terribly in both writing and direction.
CGI is the worst part of the movie.
Music by Anirudh is so bad.
Performances are so amateur.
So,Rum successfully entered the list of Worst films of 2017.
