Earlier this week, we got a first look at one of Venom: The Last Dance's popcorn buckets and to call it underwhelming...well, that would be an understatement.
However, it appears Sony Pictures is making a bigger effort than most of you expected because a second effort has been revealed today which, yes, means you'll be able to scoop popcorn straight out of the Lethal Protector's mouth!
It's a fun design and hopefully one of many we'll see for the Marvel threequel. Gimmicky popcorn buckets have become a big seller for theaters at a time when they need all the help they can get and there's money to be made here.
Plus, if Venom really does find his way to the MCU in time for Spider-Man 4, this will be the first of many pieces of merchandise featuring the character's likeness we'll one day be able to get our hands on.

Cinemark Theatres has revealed the popcorn bucket for Alien: Romulus, which follows in the crunchy, buttery footsteps of the buckets for Dune: Part Two and Deadpool & Wolverine. Begun, the popcorn wars have.

As you can see, the Alien: Romulus popcorn bucket is a reproduction of the head of a Xenomorph, but somewhat surprisingly, they’ve chosen to put a lid on the top of the head for the popcorn rather than using the mouth. Feels like a missed opportunity. Are they too worried people are trying to have sex with these things?

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two was the first big blockbuster of the year and led to a horde of new fans joining the fandom. The Timothée Chalamet starrer was based on Frank Herbert’s popular sci-fi novels and was the sequel of 2021’s Dune: Part One. The film also starred Stellan Skarsgård, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, and more.
While the film’s release led to many ‘Lisan-al-Gaib’ memes, nothing from the film went as viral as the infamous Dune popcorn bucket. The sandworm-shaped bucket was an object of ridicule from fans as well as the stars themselves. Ryan Reynolds recently released the Deadpool and Wolverine popcorn bucket as a joke, to which Villeneuve has responded.

One of the Nordic region’s biggest providers of premium series, Copenhagen-based REinvent International Sales, will make a splash at this week’s Canneseries festival and MipTV market.
For the second consecutive year, the sales, financing and packaging banner has two titles in competition: the Danish drama thriller “Dark Horse”, due to world premiere in the main competition, and the short form Swedish dramedy entry “Painkiller”, which initially bowed at the Göteborg Film Festival.
“Last year we had the Norwegian political drama “Power Play” which won best series, and the Swedish romantic dramedy “Out of Touch” in the short form section. Canneseries is a great platform to get the hype going on your series,” commented Helene Aurø, REinvent sales and marketing director.
Turning on this year’s competition candidates, Aurø points out that both “Dark Horse” and “Painkiller” deal with mother/daughter relationships.

A frenzy occurred on a flight from London Gatwick Airport to St. Lucia when a man was stabbed with a broken glass bottle by another passenger.
Onlookers reported that the British Airways airline supplied him with “unlimited” alcohol and allowed him to harass other women on the flight.
According to the passengers, there was a large group of men who spent the flight partying and drinking and then proceeded to grab or harass female travelers. They would stand in front of the restroom in the back of the plane and try to grab them if they attempted to get to the bathroom.
An hour and 20 minutes away from landing, a fight broke out between two male passengers, and the crew did not intervene or even attempt to stop them. This led to the stabbing where two men were injured by the glass.

This Star Trek: Picard article contains spoilers.
At this point in Star Trek: Picard season 3, one thing is clear: This season isn’t just paying homage to the ‘90s era of Trek. This season is a direct sequel to those adventures. From details about Changelings to deep dives into the past of the old Stargazer, to new wrinkles about the Borg, the fourth episode of Picard season 3 had a lot to unpack.
Here are the best easter eggs and Star Trek canon references in “No Win Scenario.”
Five Years Ago…
We start in a flashback, with Jean-Luc hanging out in the Los Angeles version of Ten Forward. Five years prior to Picard season 3 would put this flashback in 2397, which is, interestingly enough, just two years before Picard season 1. At this point in the timeline, Jean-Luc would be fully retired from Starfleet, meaning the young Starfleet officers would be pretty...

Director Sergio Leone's impact on cinema is still felt thanks to his "Dollars Trilogy" of Westerns: "A Fistful of Dollars," "For A Few Dollars More," and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," three films that revolutionized the Western genre and introduced Clint Eastwood as a star to be reckoned with.
But with the enormous success of those films, Leone found himself pigeonholed, only able to find quick financing for further Western adventures and not other types of movies he hoped to make. Leone was less interested in making endless shoot-em-ups than he was in making films that observed America from an outsider's perspective, which is partially why the gap between 1971's "Duck, You Sucker" and 1984's "Once Upon a Time in America" was so huge. Leone even turned down the chance to direct "The Godfather" in order to pursue his own vision of early 20th century crime, its relationship to politics,...

This story about Himesh Patel and “Station Eleven” first appeared in the Down to the Wire: Drama issue of TheWrap’s awards magazine.
When HBO Max’s sterling limited series “Station Eleven” began filming back in January 2020, lead actor Himesh Patel wasn’t a father, and he certainly wasn’t mired in a global pandemic like the one depicted in the show, which was adapted from Emily St. John Mandel’s novel of the same name. But oh, how things change.
As Jeevan Chaudhary, Patel shines as a character whose first impulse is always to take decisive action and whose second impulse is to immediately second-guess that action. After all, that’s why he ends up looking after young Kirsten (Matilda Lawler) in the aftermath of a tragic accident and why he becomes her reluctant caregiver as the world ends around them. “I’ve felt aimless at times in my life,...
