Some shows just don't know how to end quite often becoming a sure compared to the rest of the series and this is a little like that here.
The show was reaching a crescendo at the end of part 3 but loses its way a bit here, almost seeming apologetic to the murderer simply because they ars still of school age.
It is excellently performed but it just seems daft that the show was filmed in Wales with primarily English actors except for a paramedic and a police officer.
Welsh officers would have the word "Heddlu" on their jackets but it is missing here either due to poor research or because it was set in England.
A good watch but not quite how things should have ended.
