Sex & Nudity

  • Cleavage, and tight clothing, shots of curves.
  • Sex jokes, jokes about pubic hair, all throughout show.
  • There is rape, but sex and nudity on the other hand is implied but never shown.
  • Season 4: fingering is implied, however no nudity is shown and scene lasts 4-5 seconds.
  • Season 4 contains a lot of scenes of strippers, strip clubs and stripping. Lots of exposed skin and skimpy outfits but no nudity. There is a general "happy hooker" and a pro-prostitution trope portrayed.
  • A man cheating on his wife kisses his mistress' thighs before climbing on top of her on the desk, presumably for sex (the camera cuts away). A man who has compromising information on a woman tries (ultimately unsuccessfully) to blackmail her for sex. A woman is shown on her hands and knees getting her genitals waxed.

Violence & Gore

  • Some scenes contain blood and intense violence.
  • Characters threaten others with guns to heads.
  • One character points a gun at another character in defense. A character walks toward the gun and puts their mouth on the end of the barrel and says, shoot me !
  • A character is hit on the head with a liquor bottle. Blood is seen coming from their temple area. The character stumbles and falls through a glass coffee table becoming unconscious. Blood is seen.
  • Someone is shot in the foot with a handgun. Blood can be seen coming out of their shoe and on their hand. They are screaming in pain !
  • Mayhem and violence is sudden and shocking: a man tries to rape a woman and is bludgeoned over the head by another woman before falling through a glass table, dead. Robbers (who are using toy guns that look real) threaten to "cap" hostages and "shoot their face off."

Profanity

  • Cursing and language includes "damn," "hell," "ass," "S.O.B.," "son of a bitch"; a man calls a woman who rejects his overtures a "stuck-up bitch"; "douche bags," "d--khead," "holy crap," "weenie," "douche face."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drugs are commonly talked about, and seen
  • The main characters are often seen drinking hard liquor.
  • Adults drink at parties and dinners. In one scene, a woman who's just gotten upsetting news is advised to have "10 drinks." One sister admits she told her parents that her teen sister was smoking pot.

  • Inexplicit scenes of sexual harassment, no nudity shown but rape is implied and mentioned throughout the series.
  • In season 2: there is a scene were a main character goes into the bathroom of a club. another character follows and the they have sex. it is seen in pieces in flashbacks. no nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Descriptive mentions of murder; body is described as being chopped up and stored in a meat freezer.
  • Dead body part is shown briefly; a body is wrapped in a garbage bag.
  • Season 3: Lucy is shot in the head twice. Offscreen but out of nowhere and upsetting.
