Air Drop

Warning: Spoilers
Finally giving us the payoff to the treasonous character was good, but overall the show is still all over the place.

There is potential with this almost Narcos-esque final season, but we need to see the immediacy of the situation. Let us see a land battle, not just threats to the Nathan James.

What a rollercoaster!

Wow, this episode had me speechless. The plane-action was just so good and the Vulture Team on a mission is always a delight to watch. They are all so badass! I just love it. Miller became my new favorite. Gotta love this man.

Yes that's propably one of my favorite episodes by far. Thrilling tension and cool character moments. Need more Kara and Danny, I need them together and married and happy.

A military team just wondering around downtown and no one seems to notice.

Supposed to create tension?

Just ridiculous.

Sigh.....

Huh?

Warning: Spoilers
Usually the tactics and strategy makes sense. And are very, VERY interesting.

But this time, I didn't get it.....

They had to make an "Air Drop" (yes, very exciting and problematic) that was actually within range of the Nathan James and it's helicopter.

Why not just have the Nathan James deliver the weapons????

I'm probably missing something. Because this episode left me wondering, "What happened to the writing?"

Comedy! Getting so, so bad!

First, change the name of this series - it hasn't been the "last ship" since early season 1!

This episode is a muddled mess of nonsense. The battles have become laughable.

The Nat James has to chase another ship to less than 1500 yards?! That's within vision, and (ha ha!) that's within *rifle* range! Are they so incompetent that they have to get close enough to an enemy ship that they shoot rifles at them? ha ha!

Also, the claymore was facing the wrong way! ha ha!

Silly, funny, and a whole lot of fake 10/10 scores in an attempt to mislead the satisfaction of real voters.

Cancel this, already! It can't be saved!

Lazy writing and direction that is going on a wrong way for this series.

The Last Ship Episode 5.06 (2.5 out of 5 stars).

This episode gets back in track after the previous out of place episode. The plot follows U.S. sending an air drop of weapons and soldiers to Cuban's rebels to help fight against the villain Tavo and his army. The direction is still terrible and filled with plot holes. And lazy writing with the script that has characters jump from one scene to another at a different location. It is somewhat entertaining with the action that is leading up to the climatic finale.
