Warning: Spoilers
Danno is talking about retirement. Is this a possible way for him to exit the show?

Discovering uranium as part of the making of a dirty bomb is the plot here and it's just too convenient how everything appears to work out so that a major explosion does not occur.

Our drug lord almost comes across as a hero here, and it appears too bad that Kono ends the life of the bomb-maker so that he can't be forced to explain how to disarm the monster.

Suddenly, Steve becomes an almost-expert in the dismantling of these devices. The person on the phone who gives him the necessary instructions was more like a phone operator.

Danno's Downfall--Not My Favorite Whine!
lnvisigoth21 July 2017
OMG! We love this series! Mahalo!

BUT, the escalating nagging from Danno is terrible writing.

Please stop ruining the character!!! You've turned Danno into a wuss. It's not fair to Scott Caan and it's probably embarrassing to his father, tough-guy James Caan!

Go for a bonding moment like brothers, Sam and Dean in Supernatural. Don't drag it out for entire episodes.

We feel like we are watching a soap opera with way too much whining. It is extremely unpleasant.

Hoping season 8 will have better writing.

Aloha! <3

Getting tired of Danno and Steve
kenhorowitz26 February 2017
I have to admit that when the show was good, I never gave a rating. But lately I have been getting really annoyed at the arguing and complaining between Danno and Steve. I find it interesting that another reviewer has beaten me to the punch. If this keeps up, I will stop watching.

The writers should be ashamed.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode makes it obvious that Danny has to go back to LA and stay there. Since they listed Alicia Brown as part of the cast, I thought that they might tell us if she killed herself, her daughter or Dr Gray or shot the writer for such a stupid script. She might have been filmed in the original show and cut for time constraints, since there were several annoying quick cuts. Building a suspenseful scenario on episodic TV is a fools errant. Every one above 5 years old knew that the "can't stand you" buddies would make it to the landing zone and defuse the bomb before the end of the show. Even tho every 5 minutes an obstacle occurred which they thankfully solved. It was very irritating and predictable.

Worst Episode Ever

What is with the writers of this show. The original Hawaii Five-0 was never this asinine. Everybody on the Five-0 team was a professional.

I have gotten to the point with this show that whenever the Danno character and Steve start their mindless conversations I just fast forward. In this episode they have more than their share of the mindless conversations. Trying to get rid of a dirty bomb that will kill thousands and thousands of people on the island. Yet Danno and Steve have to stand their and talk about meaningless & mindless things while the timer on the bomb is ticking down.

Enough of the fill clips of Waikiki and the islands. Enough of the mindless and meaningless fill conversations to kill time CBS. With this episode I am done watching your sorry show. You need to hire better writers. Maybe your current writers need to watch the original Hawaii Five-0 for lessons on creative writing.

It's getting worse and worse

When Danny's mouth opens I just skip forward to the next scene. It's just totally illogical and unbearable that a character like McGarrett Would tolerate Danny's idiocy and continual insults. Danny's head is just full of continual whines and complaints, How could he possibly be a good team member. They could've eliminated him and put Chin in his place in the show would be still be fabulous. It's too bad because the episodes are really exciting and creative, but I can't believe the riders weren't able to see how unpleasant Danny's character made things. It's really unbelievable that Steve would continually put up with it. Fortunately, I can skip forward and still enjoy the show. Three seasons to go. It will be interesting no doubt.
