Sebastien at Mad Max
franbelle1026 June 2018
What could have gone through the director's mind? This film is not for kids, it's Sebastien at Mad Max! I know that the original series is not free of serious passages, and that Sebastien goes through tribulations. This is not a reason to lay a scenario of such darkness, with a final worthy of a night at Freddy! The first two films of this trilogy and this third volume play on opposite emotional registers: courage in the face of adversity in the first two films; gratuitous wickedness and horror in this latest film. Regrettable.

A young man about a dog...or two

I'm aware that we're all entitled to our own opinion and we also may have different taste.

Why The third installment of B And S has only one review is a little mystery for me. So I'll add one more.

I'm still wondering about the Mad Max quotation and its value. I'm a great fan of M Gibson and especially MMx. But have difficulty to see any parallel here.

Never mind I can just say that I really enjoyed the 3 B &S stories. I have no problems with children watching it, my grand children watched them also, enjoyed them and did not report having nightmares about it.

I imagine we will always wonder or debate what affect movies have on people's behaviour... Recently I have read the War of the Buttons and I believe youngster can behave as it is depicted in the book. Some of us are sheltered from day 1. Whilst others soon become streetwise. However, this alone, does not determine their future.

Belle and Sebastian/s give use splendid sceneries and magic moment - Let's enjoy it.
