Not a bad episode

Good episode. Enjoyed the Ian storyline and the Lip storyline. Fiona storyline a bit boring.

I love how they have developed Carl over the years, I just wish he would stop being lead by his d**k. Seriously, are all guys this bad? It gets really boring and predictable with Carl, especially when he's done such good work in other areas.

Well, that was an all over the place episode. I wish they saved the conversion therapy and Ian conflict for another hour as that is a rare storyline where I could get behind his character. It deserved more time.

Frank and his immigration trek was great.

The Fiona stuff was a little odd. While her happy underwear dance was certainly aesthetically pleasing, it felt a bit out of character. And both of her tenants having babies? I hope the show doesn't invest too much time in that.

Worst episode...why? Politics

This show is usually great. This episode however was filled with political jabs and undertones that was just unnecessary and poorly chosen. I'm not left or right on the political scheme but I absolutely hate when writers have to put their political motives into the script. That's what's wrong with media today...no separation of entertainment and politics.

Racism and poor judgment

The part that Frank is taking immigrants to Canada, a woman in his car with a veil all over her says she is from "Iran"! She looks like nothing like Iranian women. Indicating poor judgment of Ameicans, and the fact that some of them think they are the only civilized poeple in the world! Very insulting that the woman was carrying a goat with herself! Do they even know where Iran is and how they live? Disappointed!

I've never rated a Shameless episode this low! I don't know if it had to do with Emmy Rossum's directing, but the story is getting bad and if the next 3 episodes don't deliver, this will be the worst Season so far. Why can't the show go back to the tone of the 3rd and 4th seasons? So many characters aren't on the show anymore and it doesn't feel the same. This was my favorite show but this Season has failed to impress me in literally all ways! I want to keep staying tuned in but I feel like the show should of ended with Season 7! Season 7 is one of my favorite Season Finale's ever!!
