Started off amazing, really great story line and an excellent cast. The two leads are perfect. The downfall was the writing; there were so many plotholes, too many things left unexplained and the ending was unbearably bad.

The story was so good and interesting in starting the chemistry between both the leads was so good but ending was totally disappointing for me! There could be good ending!!!!!!!
And I think there were many things that were left uncleared especially why yilmaz was left free he killed Daghan's father and the young guy who was mehmet's friend who was looking after daghan's family and what about daghan's and beril's son, will he live with daghan's family or beril would keep him with her??

Overall if you like happy endings you may get disappointed with this one !!!

Amazing acting by the cast. The story was new for me and very intriguing. I feel like the storyline could have gone on for longer with the child and the relationship of Selvi & Daghan etc. The end was very rushed. Overall, it was a good series to watch!
Engin Akyurek and Fahriye Evcen stood out for me. I would have never guessed the pair but they look amazing together.
I absolutely loved the music. It made the scenes come to life even more.
The introduction of a segment of the series in the beginning to stir the audience was a great idea.
Very well done to the cast, director, writer etc. Keep it up!

Ölene Kadar it's by far one of the best TV show of this year, from drama to mystery to action & with great acting from the hole team also an amazing director & soundtrack they made great one , what's make it different from other Turkish series is the script it's fully of surprising & the cinematic look of it each episode it's like a movie honestly it's an amazing TV show .
not look like other Turkish drama .. its away better ..

i liked the story line so much .. every episode make me feel that i'm watching a film from the beginning to the end . with lots of question marks on my head .. Daghan is a very interesting character , the dark side in his character grow up by time and Engin Akyurek with his outstanding perfect performance is doing an amazing job !! i'v seen him before in fatmagulun sucu ne , bir bulut olsam and kara para ask , this man can just make me believe that his is the character he plays .. he is really a great actor .. and his couple with Fahriye is just cool .. she plays a role of a strong lawyer but she is the one who destroyed Daghan's life .. i can feel her regret .. and im looking forward to see the rest of the story and what will Daghan do to have his revenge ..

Olene Kadar was very good series. Story, dialogues, music, acting and most importantly direction was very very good. Engin Akyurek always waits for a good project before choosing. Till now his choices have been great. I love Engin and Fahriye together. Gulcan and Sarp and Ragip Savas are also very good actors.

Since the first episode of Olene Kadar I was with a knot in the throat: mystery, suspense, intrigue, one surprise after another. The photograph was suitable because it preferred the dark tones, which accentuated the climate of tension. Excellent music, it matched very well with the scenes. I congratulate Engin Akyurek and Fahriye Evcen, because they were very involved in their characters and became a couple with a lot of chemistry. When I said chemistry I mean acting together, when they look each other, when they talk each other or smile or cry each other. In my opinion Fahriye has been the best partner that Engin has had. They did not need to be so explicit in their scenes of love as Engin was with Tuba in KPA and however they convinced me more. Sarp Levendoglu, great actor, I enjoyed her acting as a villain. In general, all the cast do a great job. I am sorry because Turkish people don't appreciate this series and it was finished abruptly by low rating. I think Olene Kadar was different from commercial series, it is a series for people who appreciate good cinema, independent cinema or author cinema.

Excellent story line. I liked the way the start each episode with a scene and then later they go back to that scene with more details always keeping the mystery of the episode alive. You can't wait to see the next episode and the main actors (specially Engin Akyurek) did an outstanding job with their performances.

Feride Kaytan, and Kumar Turagay, please make another film with both Engin and Fahriye as a passionate romantic couple. I hope in their next film, they will display more physical contact with each other. They're great together as lovers! I also,hope their next film will have a happy ending with them being together at the end.

This is probably one of best Turkish tv show I've seen, and I've seen a lot of Turkish shows and movies. Is there anyway to air it on Netflix? Please, please, please, check with Netflix to air Olene Kadar. Both Engin Akyurek and Fahriye Evcen Ozcivit's characters were so phenomenal completely captivating. People have been downloading Olene Kadar in YouTube recently. None of the recent downloads are complete. Every episode has certain scenes and audio missing. How frustrating and irritating is that???? The only Olene Kadar that is complete and also has English subtitles is the show that was downloaded from 3 years ago. The original Olene Kadar is still in YouTube, but it doesn't offer English subtitles anymore, except for the first 2 or 3 episodes . It's really really frustrating! Whoever the person was that downloaded the original Olene Kadar from 3 years did an absolute terrific great job!!! People shouldn't be allowed to download shows thru YouTube without proofwatching. Just as in business letters they are all proofread before the letter is sent. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully, Netflix will air Olene Kadar very soon as in '2020. Or that person who downloaded Olene Kadar 3 years ago; can add English subtitles to it again. Most appreciated!

I've watched quite a few Turkish T.V. shows. I have to state, Olene Kadar is by far my favorite romance show. Both Engin and Fahriye preformed deep profound love. The connection in their eyes and the way Engin caressed Fahriye was phenomenal. I thought Black Money Love with Engin and Tuba was my favorite, until I watched Olene Kadar. The chemistry between Engin and Fahriye was so captivating. I speak for the fans of Olene Kadar as well as myself, and that is; we would love to see another film with both Engin and Fahriye falling in love with each other.

This is a series that is so amazing that it is the only show that I can honestly say holds my attention re-watching it. This is the first time that I have seen Engin;he is so handsome and perfect in his acting. Fahriye is so beautiful and she makes me believe that she is every character that she portrays;I have seen her in Kurt Seyit ve Sura and Lovebird. The chemistry between Daghan and Selvi is breathtaking...they make the viewer believe in their love. Every look, every touch is slow and deliberate and heart wrenching. The storyline is also very interesting. But for me it is the emotional scenes between Daghan and Selvi that make this a romantic masterpiece; they make the perfect romantic pair. I was disappointed in the ending . My perfect ending would have been Yilmaz taking Daghan's place. I wish that more people gave this series a chance so that there could have been a second season.

First let me just say what amazing casting this was. Engin and Fahriye were exceptional. I love these two Turkish actors and feel like Turkey did a huge mistake in ending it the way they did.
Daghan should not have died... UGH so frustrating! Anyways... Fahriye and Engin had so much chemistry. Turkey made a mistake at ending it the way they did. They need to start including the international ratings.

Not sure why everyone hated the ending of this series? I thought it was the PERFECT ENDING! Selvi didn't deserve happiness after everything she did. She chose to protect her brother, a murderer over a descent man. It wasn't her fault when she was a child, but she should have confessed as an adult. She was a selfish and evil woman who cared only about herself. If she was such a good person, she should have walked into the police station and claimed responsibility for the murder and turn herself and brother in. She was just as guilty as Ender, Fahri and Yalmaz. The story was good, but very unrealistic and not believable. No man would have stayed with a woman like Selvi. No way! No how! No...true love doesn't conquer all! When Selvi came to confess at the beach, Daghan said there are some things that can't be forgiven, yet he forgives a woman who sent him to prison and hid it for years? He lost the love of his life, Beril. He lost his child. He lost his career. He lost his father. He spent 11 years in prison and he just forgives the woman who caused him all this pain and suffering in the name of love? GMAB. He couldn't forgive Beril for not believing him, but he forgave a woman who constantly lied, deceived and ruined his life. Really? Justice was served and she lost him in the end. Seeing her suffer in the last scene was my favorite part of the series. Karma is a B. She could go live happily ever after with her brother. Loved the acting, but I didn't see any chemistry between the lead actors. I think Engin had way more chemistry with Gulcan Arslan than with Fahriye. Engin was phenomenal as usual.

Acting and chemistry was great! Exciting show with a pretty good premise. Just too bad it had to end like that. There wasn't enough time to flesh out a proper ending, and they really went with the most tragic and abrupt way possible. There was absolutely no justice for Daghan. He suffered til the very end for something he never did in the first place...
The only thing I really wasn't convinced by is how long it took Selvi to divulge her secret. Sure, she was scared and guilt-ridden, but obviously no one is going to blame a child. She didn't even know what was going on. She was manipulated by her brother and now has trauma from seeing a man get murdered right in front of her.

I've been avoiding this series because I read that it has a sad and abrupt ending. However it has recently popped up on YouTube with English subtitles. So, I started watching it and am literally hooked! The cinematography, acting, music, story and the pace is top-notch and captivating. There's lots of suspense and the story carries deep emotions which the cast delivered superbly well. I am still at the early episodes and the story has steadily built up with lots of suspense and grip. I'm just amazed with the quality of this Turkish series. I especially like both the male and female leads and their chemistry together. I've been watching a lot of series acted by Fahriye Evcen and am enchanted by her. She certainly does not disappoint me in this series.
