This is a nice episode, fleshing out the relationships between Kenneth and J. J and Maya and Ray a little bit more.
It's always been a thought I'd have about why J. J doesn't have a computerised voice, and while this episode doesn't totally provide an answer, it is good to see the depth that his relationship with Kenneth deepen because of it.
The Ray and Maya plot is fun too, and both Mason Cook and Minnie Driver for me have been the stand-out players in 'Speechless' so far in its run.
Overall, another good episode of a show that seems to be finding its feet and doing what it does well. I look forward to further episodes.
