Well everybody, here it is! This is none other than my 500th review on the Internet Movie Database! I am so proud of my work and I am now one of the most prolific reviewers here! Well, I think I am at least. Happy Valentine's Day? That's actually quite appropriate because while today's episode doesn't focus on Valentine's Day per se, it does focus on romance! And what do you know? It's none other than the romance between Darwin and Carrie! This episode features Carrie and Gumball making a love potion because they think Darwin's in love with Terri. The animation is as incredible as ever.
I especially love the way we see Terri's facial expression changes. For a character that's literally two dimensional, that isn't easy. I laughed when Darwin said he'd watch the sunset. When he was told it was 2pm, he just put on sunglasses and said he'd wait. I thought it was so hilarious when Terri looked at all of the people that Darwin had kissed and who kissed him. It's the closest we'll get to an authentic clip show here. I especially loved how she was confused as to why Gumball and Darwin kept kissing. These guys are real smoochers aren't they? And wouldn't you know it? The episode ended with Darwin and Carrie becoming an official couple! Thanks for a great episode and five hundred reviews! ****
