While not as good as some of the other parts of this series, this is still really fun. The best part is probably the introduction of Whipple the Dragon. Yeah, that was pretty obvious from the title. The most amusing part had to be how Whipple kept talking over and over about his idea for a novel and how much it bored the characters. It's really funny just to see this guy come up with a story nobody likes. BMO finally comes out and admits that everyone hates it. Well, he does eventually come back to help them.
It's cool to see Jake just go with his original plan and create a boat for them all to ride on. I love all the little details he puts into the boat to make it authentic. It's just great to see how creative Jake's powers can be. I thought they'd spend numerous episodes showing them on the ocean, but it was mostly just this one episode. I guess a lot did happen here and while I think they could have done more with it, it was still great while it lasted. I don't even know what those yellow guys are. ***1/2
