I find it hard to believe that 10 members of a street gang would stop selling drugs because they can make more money selling Maple Syrup? Let alone that everyone in the neighbourhood must have suddenly forgotten what they all looked like.
Also the fact they just brushed the father off goes against the characters that have been built up. Are we now supposed to believe that they both just ignore people and don't give them even a cursory listen before fobbing them off?
