Double Vision with Director of Photography Peter Suschitsky (2016)
*** (out of 4)
Cinematographer Peter Suschitsky discusses his work on David Cronenberg's DEAD RINGERS. The cinematographer starts off talking about how he wasn't familiar with the director's work before meeting him for this production. From here he talks about what he wanted to bring to the film, what it was like seeing Jeremy Irons work as well as his relationship with the director throughout the production. Fans of Suschitsky or just the film will certainly enjoy this featurette as he tells quite a few good stories and he certainly manages to give you a good idea of what it was like on the set during filming. There are plenty of good stories through throughout the interview but one of the highlights deals with him discussing what it was like watching Irons work and the one time the actor forgot which role he was playing.
