another episode that progresses little and continues with nonsense
MomentIMDB8 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Good points: Eugene's development was good and interesting and I love his chemistry with Negan. the entrance of the walkers to the sanctuary was good. The cliffhanger was very good. bad points: the whole daryl plan and the others made no sense. If they were already winning the war, why take a chance? besides daryl's reasons are not explained. remember that daryl survived a lot of time, he faced other villains, he was sensible, but now daryl wants to risk the plan, only for the whims of scott gimple and benefit of the plot. Rick's fight was good but forced. Khadi had a gun, because he didn't shoot Rick, if he tried to do it later. and then those of the dump point and jadis also surrenders, nonsense. what I would have done is that Rick take the gun from jadis mate to the others and propose a deal, something with more meaning. hopefully midseason finally be good and leave inconsistencies

So What Did We Learn Tonight?
sevenlilxenos4 December 2017
Eugene is suddenly the HNIC as Negan declares him to be the second most important Savior dude (Hope it works out better for him than it did for the Governor's brainiac side kick). Eugene was so excited he didn't know Negan wanted a handshake and not a hand kiss. Good thing for Eugene Negan didn't drop his trou or Eugene would have had another to chomp or not to chomp moment.

Dwight and Daryl both appear so obsessed with killing Negan that they don't seem to mind possibly dying themselves, if necessary, in the process. I love bad azz Daryl as it reminds me of his brother Merle, but Dwight is having the best character arc of everyone.

Looks like Jadis use to be a groupie as she is determined to make herself a plaster caster of Rick-n-box and his junk. This bunch has GOT to be the most unrealistic of all the various groups encountered thus far in TWD. Bunch of no good, do nothing junkies.

Father Gabe, even on his death bed, is still trying to save Eugene's soul. Nice little God vs science moment they had. Too bad Eugene has already sold his soul to whoever looks like they can keep him alive the longest. Should give him some good dear diary material next time he boozes it up.

War is fluid and you have to improvise and overcome. I don't quite understand why Rosita, especially with her military background and Michonne weren't 100% down with the move Daryl and Tara shot. At least you can count on Morgan. I thought it was a good idea to let all the Walkers in for dinner, the workers made their choice long ago.

Just how long was everyone suppose to wait for Rick especially when he went by himself to negotiate with someone who already tried to kill him?

Lacking Build Up
ThomasDrufke3 December 2017
After last week's very uneventful episode, I had little expectations for 'Time for After'. This whole "All out War" story has slowed down to just a rehash of most of last season's back half episode arcs. And it just feels like it's taking a long time to get to the end result of this 'war', while at the same time it doesn't feel right if the conflict ends next week with Rick taking down Negan, capturing him, or whatever they end up doing. I've liked this season thus far, but it just feels like there's been a slowed tension and a lack of build up to the mid-season finale. And this big moment that AMC is teasing for next week? Yeah it better be good.

Tonight was a big Eugene-Dwight episode, two characters that could not have gone in more different directions these last bunch of episodes. Dwight has developed more depth and reasoning behind his decisions than I ever thought he would, but is also putting himself into position to dying next week. It's almost guaranteed at this point. Eugene on the other-hand is making a case to not be redeemable at all, and the only thing keeping him from going too far is not telling Negan about Dwight's betrayal. Otherwise, I don't see any reason to let Eugene back into the group assuming he makes it out of these next batch of episodes alive.

Rick spent the majority of the episode in his underwear trying to convince Jadis and The Scavengers to join them in the fight against The Saviors. Why? Well, for some reason Rick still believes they can be trusted. Or maybe he is going to double cross them just like they did to him last year? That would be welcomed, although I find it more likely The Scavengers will back out when time is most vital.

Meanwhile, at The Sanctuary Morgan, Daryl, and Tara enacted a plan to send the walkers inside the building to draw The Saviors out. Much like last season, this was yet another inner team conflict as both Rosita and Michonne claimed they couldn't be a part of such an act as it put the workers from the sanctuary at risk of dying. Well, at least Rosita learned her lesson from last year right? I don't know how much consequence will come of this choice by Daryl, Tara, and Morgan, but I doubt this won't be addressed next week. Then again, all I really hope is that we stop getting episode one-offs with the team at odds with each other. Can Rick not spend one episode away from Alexandria without this happening?

Nonsensical
TheDonaldofDoom4 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Rick's capture at the Garbage Land is now officially the most stupid Walking Dead plot ever. Not only were his actions to walk right into enemy territory alone insane, especially when the Saviors were losing the war already, but this time the Garbage People's actions are insane as well. Why do they suddenly get a walker with a spiked helmet out to attack Rick? Why do they just stand there like zombies as Rick fights back with his hands tied up? How the hell did the Garbage Leader let Rick overpower her? This whole thing is clearly a laughably contrived attempt to throw in a walker fight. Back when the Walking Dead was good, it didn't need a contrived scene in a Garbage Land to set up a great walker fight. And this action scene sucked anyway.

The assault on the Saviors is also pretty nonsensical. What's the point of risking lives on an unnecessary attack when you're winning anyway? And the character beats make no sense either, why does specifically Rosita decide she can't go ahead with it for example? We get no real insight into the change she is going through as a character that makes her pull out. It's also hard to understand what the plan actually is until it's done, which takes out any tension it could have had.

This episode does have a strength though, and that's Eugene and to a lesser extent Dwight. You can see Eugene grappling between his survival instincts which tell him to stick with Negan and his loyalty to Rick. We know he's keeping his options open as he hasn't turned Dwight in. This is further complicated by the girl who tells him he could have changed the Saviors for the better, but he didn't. When Negan treats Eugene as his equal, it becomes clear that Eugene could easily go either way.

The episode focuses on Eugene, who finds himself torn between his loyalty to Rick and his desire for self-preservation
fernandoschiavi23 March 2024
Tired of waiting for The Saviors to starve out, Daryl and Tara set their own plan into motion. With help from the snipers outside the Sanctuary, they crash a truck into the compound. Walkers then flood in and begin killing soldiers and workers, much to Eugene's horror.

Eugene had previously been having a crisis of conscience. Negan had given the task of finding a safe way out of the Sanctuary. He had also been thinking about Gabriel's request to help Doctor Carson escape back to the Hilltop, and also had recently confronted Dwight with the knowledge that he knew of his treason against Negan.

Once the Walker attack begins, Negan makes his choice. He tells Gabriel that he is on his own; Eugene is now fully committed to Negan's cause. There is some sign that Eugene still has moral qualms however, as he chooses not to let Negan know of Dwight's "fifth column" activities.

Rick continues to be held prisoner by the Scavengers. In a surreal scene, Jadis takes photographs of Rick, while another Scavenger draws sketches of him. Eventually Jadis sentences Rick to death, but he uses the tethered Walker that was to be his executioner to instead fight back. Rick gained the upper hand on Jadis and held a weapon to her throat. He tells the watching Scavengers that he will leave, and then his people WILL come to kill the Scavengers. Furthermore, the Saviors will turn on them, no matter who wins the war. The only smart choice is for the Scavengers to join forces with the Survivors. Jadis reluctantly agrees.

Soon afterward, a garbage truck holding Rick and a fighting force of Scavengers arrives at the Sanctuary. To Rick's horror, however, the horde of Walkers is now gone, and the front gate is wide open.

"Time for After" continues to build tension as the war between Rick and Negan intensifies. The episode focuses on Eugene, who finds himself torn between his loyalty to Rick and his desire for self-preservation. As the Saviors' chief engineer, Eugene plays a pivotal role in Negan's plans, but his actions also have profound consequences for the survivors.

One of the episode's most memorable scenes is Eugene's interactions with Dwight, who is revealed to be a double agent working against the Saviors. Eugene's decision to betray Dwight's plan to Rick highlights the moral ambiguity of his character and the complexities of survival in a world where trust is a rare commodity. The episode also explores Eugene's internal struggle as he grapples with his role in the conflict and the consequences of his choices.

Meanwhile, Rick devises a risky plan to lure the walker herd away from the Sanctuary, leading to a tense confrontation with Jadis and the Scavengers. This sequence showcases Rick's resourcefulness and determination, but also the lengths to which he is willing to go to achieve victory. The episode's cliffhanger ending, with Rick surrounded by walkers and at the mercy of Jadis, sets the stage for the season's dramatic conclusion.

"Time for After" is a suspenseful and emotionally charged episode that highlights the moral complexities of war and the difficult choices faced by its characters. It sets the stage for the season's final showdown and raises questions about the future of the survivors and the communities they have built.

Shutting up now
ericstevenson3 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
My last review here do really poorly, but I'm just going to stop talking about my reviews now and their votes. This is about the actual episode. I feel sorry for not being able to name all of the characters. This episode mostly focuses on Eugene and how he interacts with all the other characters. Morgan is great and I love the idea of a priest trying to push the idea that God has a plan. I'm glad to finally see Negan appear again and he gets good chemistry with Eugene. There's this great shot where it shows a model airplane flying over these walkers.

It's brief, but it's probably the best scene in the whole episode. Rick only appears at the beginning and the end but you know what? He actually gets one of his most awesome moments in the show as he defeats a spiked walker. It could still be considered an episode that focuses on all of the characters as even get more bits from Daryl and Michonne. It's great to see some good old fashioned walker killing thrown in too. They always call them walkers and not zombies so I'm just going to do the easy thing and call them walkers. Still, the focus really was too much on Eugene. ***

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...
theactualpavle5 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Honestly, this is probably in the top 3 worst episodes of the whole show. I also had this opinion about the last few episodes, but they have got nothing on this one.

Boy, I just do not know where I would start. NOTHING in this whole episode made any sense. Let's start with the amazing (and obviously very well thought-through plan devised by Daryl, Tara, Morgan Michonne and Rosita). JUST WHY would you think doing this is a good idea??? As they are already winning, let me add, specifically because the walker herd formed around the Sanctuary, why on earth would anyone risk their lives just to LET THE FREAKING WALKERS IN??? I would very much like for Daryl Dixon himself to explain this nonsensical action to me. Also, I'm not sure who it was, but someone in this episode claimed and was sure the Saviors had no ammo or guns, when in reality, they obviously have a ton of both?? Also, Michonne and Rosita tagging along specifically to SEE the Sanctuary (even though Rosita has freaking seen it already) and then quitting last minute without any sort of VALID explanation. I mean I'm just picking the episode apart but, how exactly does Tara know exactly where to aim and shoot in spite of never having seen the Sanctuary?

Next on the list of things that made no sense whatsoever, we have Rick. After the last episode and Rick's genius plan to "negotiate" with the Garbage People, i highly doubted that anything would be able to beat that on the scale of dumbness. Well, I was wrong. Rick, tied, and may I add, in his underpants, takes on like 4 Garbage People (including Jadis, the freaking LEADER) and also, a spiky walker. And surprise, surprise, Rick actually wins. What? Then, he gets up, still tied, completely surrounded, and this time they make a deal and go with him to the Sanctuary. WHY?

I'm not even going to talk about Eugene and Dwight, because there was really no surprise there, honestly, having seen the last 6 episodes I expected nothing more. It was just classic boring dialogue, with everyone eventually coming to some sort of personal conclusions, and no one having the balls to do anything.

PLEASE IF YOU DO NOT WANT THIS SHOW TO LOSE ALL OF IT'S VIEWERS, HIRE SOME NEW WRITERS FFS.

Until then: 3/10

Very disappointing so far
mjsreg6 December 2017
I was looking forward to season 8 thinking that the writers may realise it is time to up their game - but it hasn't happened.

Instead of coming up with interesting and engaging story lines it seems as though they have resorted to formula writing.

Characters all seem to have their 'slot' to spout some kind of meaningless monologue of supposed 'wisdom' relating to their predicament that really adds nothing to the story whatsoever, and is more forgettable for its content that it is memorable for being a junction in the story to go and do something else more interesting with your life - like laundry.

It feels as though the story has been written merely to move characters from A to B with nothing in between or at either end.

This series is stale and uninteresting. Time for it to finish unless the story changes and the main characters get a bit of a spark about them.

What to Say about An Episode Where the Despicable Eugene Is the Lead Character?
claudio_carvalho4 December 2017
"Time for After" is another forgettable episode of "The Walking Dead". There are three simultaneous story lines, each one worse than the other. Out of the blue, the coward Eugene becomes a genius and the second in command of Negan. The episode spends most of the time with this nasty and expendable character that should have died instead of Glenn. Eugene threatens Dwight and when he has the chance to shot or push Eugene off the roof, he leaves the guy (meaning a threat to his life) alive. The second segment is absurd and nonsense, with Rick somehow subduing the Garbage People with tied hands and becoming allied of this treacherous people. And the third segment with Daryl, Tara, Rosita, Michonne and Morgan is senseless with Rosita and Michonne surprisingly leaving their friends near the Sanctuary with an unreasonable explanation. The background is The Saviors under siege of a herd of walkers apparently defeated and somehow Eugene saving them without any clear explanation. The walkers blocked by a pile of dead bodies near the stairway to the second floor is ridiculous. What else to say about an episode where the despicable Eugene is the lead character? My vote is three.

Back to Mediocrity
aj-nitsua3 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
While I thoroughly enjoyed last weeks episode, I found this one to be almost unwatchable. They dragged out one major event across an hour of television. There wasn't much good about this episode, so let's dive in.

The characters are plain annoying. I have never wanted so many characters dead on this show. One or two annoying characters is fine, but when the total goes to five or six, you begin to question why you watch. Morgan is a moron. Daryl a borderline psychopath. Tara is clueless. And Eugene is plain infuriating at this point, and is basically beyond redemption. The only characters I rooted for this episode were Rick, Michonne, and surprisingly Rosita.

Only one major thing happened all episode: Daryl crashed a truck into the Sanctuary, letting in the walkers. Some will praise him I'm sure, but his petty quest for revenge is infuriating to watch. Nobody of major consequence died, but he just fed innocent people to the walkers. How anyone roots for him anymore is beyond me. The plan was working, what the hell?

Rosita learning from her actions was a refreshing take on her character, and I feel she can redeem herself in the future. Michonne backed out last minute, and I'm glad she's keeping her morals. Rick's fight was completely overdone and over dramatic. No way in hell did he kill that walker and single-handedly take down three people with no weapons on him. Bullshit.

Overall, the characters given the spotlight this week did nothing but dumb things to drag out the run time. Nothing major happened. And nobody major died yet again. This is All Out War. Death is imminent. No way in hell should all the major characters still be standing. I have a feeling the mid-season finale will disappoint, though I'm sure they'll kill some second-tier cast member to give some sense of danger to the events unfolding. This isn't a very strong season. Hopefully they can do better.

Go Back to Your Source Material, Kirkman
dylanedamkoehler4 December 2017
Alright, this is getting so boring that I had to go back to the comics and read all 16 issues of "All Out War" to remind myself that it was in fact done right at one point in time. The comics NEVER pause the story to place ridiculous filler with Carol (Who has been Dead in the Comics for a DECADE now), watch pointless scenes with Morgan (Dead in the Comics Before Rick had even heard of the Saviors) literally just scoping some random Saviors the viewers don't know or care about, Tara (Not even in the comics) being the most boring she has ever been since the episode "Swear", and the most boring Negan I have ever seen. Nothing happened in this episode until the satisfying end where we actually got to see some Rick (One of the only characters I care about) kick ASS.

I'm still watching because I KNOW that this can get better. I love this series for it's great characters, plot, and ABILITY TO BE ENTERTAINING. Nobody wanted this, and you're loosing your fans writers. I understand that budget has always been a bitch, but you guys can still write it to be interesting.

I'm looking forward to the mid season finale because I want to see the source material come to life with the bit of Magic that the show provides. I don't care about Carol, I love Morgan, but for god sake DO SOMETHING WITH HIM, and I, along with the rest of TWD fans, never cared about TARA, and If you guys hadn't killed her this season, please do so in the next.

I'm disappointed, but not going to stop watching. Better luck next time!

Time for serious need of improvement
TheLittleSongbird31 January 2022
Am not saying this out of spite, despite how this sounds to anybody defending the episode and season. This is due to frustration, due to knowing how brilliant 'The Walking Dead' was at its best and the brilliance it was capable of. Season 7 was a very heavily flawed season with moments of good, while Season 8 repeated the same flaws, managed to make them even worse and made more on the way. Which were evident in most of the season with a few exceptions.

"Time for After" is another one of Season 8's worst and another one of 'The Walking Dead's' biggest duds. Very little works and the worst of the bad components are executed awfully. It also sees one of the fandom's least favourite characters at his most annoying. Again, am not saying this out of spite or wanting to hate it, absolutely no agenda here. Merely an honest opinion of real frustration and disappointment, and contrary to what defenders say that is actually the case with the vast majority of those that hated the episode and season (especially when there are valid reasons for the dislike and not personal attacks or conspiracy theories).

Do think that almost the entire cast do a game effort with what they have, which is truly beneath them. The acting is definitely the least bad aspect here.

There are points where the production values have a nice atmosphere that is suitably unforgiving.

Unfortunately, "Time for After" fails everywhere else. The writing, story and the way the characters are written are, very bad. Anybody that hated the writing in Season 7 will hate it even more here. It doesn't thought-provoke, have emotion or suspense and is not tight, it is all aimless, tedious talk in pure soap melodrama style with a lot of awkwardness and repetition. Eugene's dialogue made me cringe into my seat. Not only does "Time for After" lack any kind of tension, is too thin for the running time, is pretty much constantly exactly what you expect and is painfully dull a lot of the time. Not much happens, with none of it interesting, and nothing or nobody advances in development really.

Furthermore, the action far from explodes. Actually found it lacking in cohesion visually, ridiculously staged and pedestrian and that's when there was any. The characters are all dull or annoying, with decision making and motives that defy all kinds of logic and makes one want to bang their head against a wall. Eugene has never been a favourite character of mine and that is putting it mildly, here he is at his most reprehensible and impossible to get behind. Considering that most of the episode is centered him that is a big problem. Personally didn't think his development was that illuminating and it did little for his character or for anybody to change their mind, his dialogue is also risible to an insulting degree. The episode doesn't even look good generally, excepting moments of unforgiving atmosphere in namely the lighting, found it quite disorganised and self-indulgent especially in the final act.

Very bad episode once again. 2/10.

Walking Dead???...Walking Bread more like!!!
seanhalliwell7 December 2017
I used to love this show but now I occasionally flick it on to see if its improved but sadly it hasn't. More or less all this season has been is a bunch of people running round the woods shooting at each other in an A-Team stylie playing Soldiers!

Seriously lost its way putting in too many filler episodes and a damn poor story line. Guys we are sick of you running round the woods like you have for 7 seasons since they left Atlanta. Move on for god sake. At one point I thought they was going to head for Washington regarding a cure but that was all hogwash too. Get into the cities where the real danger is... Spice it up a little....

And this episode all about Eugene who, tbh can't tell a word he says most of the time and I spent most of the episode stopping and rewinding it to fathom out what he said. And I mean this in sound production and quality. I'm sure I'm not the only one to stop the walking dead and say, "What the hell did they say then?'

This shows days are numbered.... had a good run, cancel it now, move on.....

The Walking Dumb
drkknt-231495 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Here's a riddle: What is the difference between a garbage truck plowing a hole in the side of a building and opening a large bay door in the side of a building to allow walkers in so you can mow them down? The answer, writers block. The riddle makes as much sense as the stupid incident. If the Saviors needed an opening to mow them down and get away, why didn't they open a door? Writers didn't consider Daryl presents the Saviors an armored vehicle (the garbage truck), using it to draw off the walkers (recall him being told to keep it quiet) or providing an escape vehicle. BAH!

Predictably, Rick's posse accomplished losing the opportunity to win over anyone who thought Rick's gang of morons gave a walker turd for a life. They aren't interested in mass surrender, they are craving death for the evil few by risking and ultimately sacrificing the enslaved.

Now an over/under question: How many times did I have to rewind the video to understand what the heck Eugene was saying? If you said over 6, you'd be correct. Will the writers spend less time creating "witty" and "clever" Eugene-isms and spend more time realizing a truck produced hole is the SAME THING as an open door?! Please, call me, I'll work for half their pay and consider character options in stressful situations.

And for the final test: How many hands does Rick need to subdue a spike headed walker, 2 Scavengers, and an armed Jadis? The kicker is after the fight, over 12 armed Scavengers would surround the fight/bite club. Ahh, that's a trick answer, if you answered 2 tied hands, you would be correct, or you could answer 1 pair of hands tied. Please, call me, I'll work for half their pay...oh forget it. Your writing stinks and I don't think I could dig you out of it.

Thank you.

Another horrible episode from this horrible season!
svdijk3 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Are the writers on drugs or something? I can't believe how bad this show has become. Just a bunch of stupid people doing stupid, stupid things. Daryl driving the truck into the sanctuary letting Negan escape. Tara being an annoying woman. Jadis being annoying as usual. Why the hell would Rick ever go back to them? Yeah they said they chose to go to war with Rick. But how can he trust these people when they betrayed him back in season 7? The only 2 people that were good in this episode were Rosita and Michonne. Rosita said: I believe in Rick grimes. Really like it that their making her character much better now. And Michonne was always good in the show so that is nothing surprising. But the writing has become so terrible that i considering not to watch it anymore. Sorry The walking dead, you were my favorite show but that's over now!

This has collapsed faster than a zombies head from a blow of Rick's Axe. Ok, it's never been the most cranial series but, a new low. I am writing this after watching next weeks episode, which is worse!

The cast are just not good enough actors to carry this. Will the next season get made?

Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!! A EUGENE CENTERED EPISODE
larosat-328214 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Are they kidding??? Who wants to see that appalling, ridiculous, repugnant, cowardly misanthrope?? Nobody that's who. Just when you think they can't sink any lower; the show will surprise you in it's now, total ineptitude. Why did the stupid garbage woman wait till Rick approached her to take out her gun? Why didn't anyone shoot him in the head when he was holding her down? The zombie head was little threat. When the disgusting Eugene is once again cowering in a corner, you can hear thousands of rounds fired in the background; no reloading whatsoever or pause in the infinite ammo mode. Excruciatingly boring proceedings ensue throughout the ep. Next week we've been threatened with 90 minutes of no doubt, more never ending tediousness. Again almost a whole hour of Eugene. What agony. I'm not sure I can make it to the end of the season. How can a show fall so far from greatness??? Oh yeah. Gimple the pimple. Nuff said.

It's getting worse by every episode
kobrzzz44 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Unbelievable how can one TV series, from one of the best turn into one of the worst show ever. Scene with Rick is too much. There are only two explanations possible - first, the writers are drunk; second, the writers are on drugs. I won't watch this show anymore, because it is really bad. I am going to watch only last episode, just because of curiosity to see, if the writers are going to be sober. I am really disappointed they get well paid for their shi--y work, although there exist people who can do this job much better

Considering this was the second to last episode of the first half of the season I was hoping for a bit more. There was just way too much Eugene and it was neither funny nor entertaining. I hope we get a big battle next week because we barely got any of that tonight.

The show has been either all action or all nothing each week. This was an all nothing one.

Josh McDermitt is a Comedic Genius. Eugene should be killed, preferably in a Murder/Suicide by Father Gabriel. The Walking Died!
Bababooe4 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
OK, this episode is miles ahead of last week. McDermitt is a comedic genius. It is incredible that he can act and say his parts with a straight face. Great job. Now, Eugene must die. And die soon. Like, next episode. And I hope that Gabriel kills him while the zombies attack.

Dwight had some great scenes as well. Austin Amelio is copying Andrew Lincoln's acting style, the way he tilts his head, lowers his voice, intense dialogue. Not original. But good acting. Daryl's scene with Michonne was good. He just said a few great words, great. Michonne's dialogue not so good. Rick's scene with the Garbagers was decent, but again unrealistic.

Another contrivance: Morgan shows up just in time for the great attack on the Saviors. You can't make this stuff up, unless you're a writer for THE WALKING DEAD. He just shows up. No suspense. He's just there, like he beamed down from the Enterprise.

Main problem is after the zombies attack, we see Eugene in trauma, next he's in a room with Negan, like they're in a business meeting. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ZOMBIE ATTACK???????????? Last week I gave the episode a 1 star. This week is a 5, mainly because there was some action, decent acting from Eugene and Dwight. Once I understood that Eugene is a comic character, the laughter started. Like almost kissing Negans hand – 10 stars. Zombie attack? What happened? – 0 stars.

Now, I would like to help the writers out and express how I would liked to have seen this episode:

1) Rick kills all his captors with the stick attached to the zombie. Kills Jadis the Garbage Queen with the zombie, takes her guns and kills a bunch more and escapes in his underwear, leaving behind a few garbage people to continue doing their garbage things.

2) Michonne and Rosita join Daryl and Tara, and Morgan, and attack the Saviors. You might as well throw in Aaron and Enid. A couple of Saviors make it outside and Rosita bazookas them along with a bunch of zombies. Kill off some characters, maybe they want to move on to other shows. How's that for some crazy s…?!?

3) Eugene actually kisses Negan's hand before Negan pulls his hand! I know what happened was funny. But this scene would be better.

4) Gabriel kills Eugene for being a traitorous coward, by way of Gabriel locking them both in a room, and when Gabriel dies and turns he kills Eugene. How's that? You like it? That my friends is THE WALKING DEAD. That is suspense, terror, gore. Not the crap we are dished out week after week.

5) Saviorsville is no more. Negan escapes. Next episode, Rick hunts him down solo, and the big fight. They both die! and cancel the 2nd half of the season. Or start a new series called The Walking Died, where we see the Dead Negan and Dead Rick teaming up and killing everyone!

The Walking Dead!! More Like The Pathetic Dead Now
adarshbohra694 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This episode focused way to much on Eugene and his "will he?/won't he?" crisis of conscience. Why in the hell did Eugene and the turmoil inside the Sanctuary get the focus episode right before next week's Mid- Season finale? Why did Rick went alone To Jadis group for just 10-15 people, writers just keep stretching this show with more and more crap.

I Have Said This before and will say this again this show was about the survival of humankind ,not about the stupid mindless action between Group Rick and some other groups, they finish one and there will be always someone to take over. Once Upon A time there used to be filler epiosodes in TV shows, now the walking dead invented filler seasons.A Guy said here in his review, Budget Continues to Cripple TWD,He Blame AMC,Not the writers ,sorry my friend you are wrong here.He also gave the example Of Game Of Thrones,Budget did not make what game of thrones what it is today,it's the amazing writers and the directors.the best thing about HBO is they always give priority to quality not the quantity. When you see the number of episodes , 7 in last season and 6 in upcoming Means They don't want a singal Episode or scene in their show which not contribute something meaningful to the show. That's what makes HBO The Best. On the other hand AMC still eating on the Legacy of Breaking Bad,The Walking dead is the only show now making huge money for them even after viewers count is on the lowest Now after season 2 because of poor quality of the show after season 5,because of they are showing crap in a show which once used to be one of the best just some years ago.

They're not even trying anymore. Don't waste your time on this.
pauldevries-4783520 December 2017
I don't think I've watched much dumber shows than this for this long. The show was always up and down but it was watchable for the most part and once or twice a season it could blow you away. There were some dumb nonsensical or just plain boring episodes but there was always a pay-off. That's why we stuck around. Not anymore though. It just gets worse and worse.

It's completely retarded, without exaggeration. No one makes any sense, they just do shit...stupid shit. It's painful to watch. The "assault" just drags on and on, adding new moronic twists at every tiresome turn. I guess they had about one episode of plot this season and somehow managed to drag out over 8 (and looking to add 8 more, no doubt).

Clearly they just gave up on the show, the writers just can't be bothered for whatever reason. They're just making it up as they go along. "Here's some...a lot of guns, make-up and a camera, have fun. Or not. Whatever, we'll just air what ya got".

Fast forwarding

Whoever wrote the dialogue for the Eugene character will pay for it in the afterlife. I'd turn on the subtitles to see what his incoherent mumbling mumbo jumbo actually says but I'd rather fast forward through it. Whoever conceptualized this character deserves a criminal record for attempting to bore their audience to death.

Goodbye
arvoturbo11 December 2017
After 7 years, 114 episodes and countless disappointments, I am glad to say, I won't be wasting a single minute on this awful show. I AM DONE! The writers have steered this show into the ground, this is the last s straw, as they clearly don't care anymore, so why should I?

There are no words to describe how dumb and pointless this show is. Absolute pile of steaming dog poop. Bye everybody.
