Sex & Nudity

  • There is a comedy subplot about a husband's spouse cheating on him while he is away. Only featured via dialogue.
  • When Spider-Man puts on a new suit he says " It's a little tight around the old web-shooter" He is referring to his genitals.
  • Someone is embarrassingly found in their underwear with a woman (avoiding context for spoilers) and it's played off, rather comically, as a sexual encounter. No nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • A drone is ordered to kill somebody; this thankfully ends up being prevented. Other characters are specifically threatened/planned to be killed.
  • Drones are shown threatening to kill people quite a few times with lasers pointed at their heads, or exploding things nearby and creating damage and falling debris.
  • There's plenty of people getting punched and shot at. Some people are shot but there's barely any blood.
  • There is a lot of physical damage to buildings etc., falling debris, people possibly falling to their deaths or being crushed by falling structures. An entire small town is shown as destroyed. There is mention of people being collateral damage.

Profanity

  • Someone gives a character the middle finger.
  • Uses of "bitch," "damn," "hell," "ass," "dick," and "shit" occur a few times.
  • One incomplete use of "fuck." (Just like the last time before Homecoming in the end of the movie)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A scene in a bar where a character drinks a beer while another drinks a non-alcoholic lemonade
  • A quick scene where an underage character is on a plane holding what appears to be champagne, and is intending to drink it, but another passenger alerts the attendant to the fact and the character gets their drink taken away.
  • A group of people all drink champagne during a toast.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There's a hellish illusionary experience that features some pretty dark imagery intended to disorient the subject. Not terrifying but moderately disturbing and edited for frantic pace.
  • Some moments may trigger those with vertigo symptoms, although they're brief
  • Many buildings and special monuments in London get fictionally destroyed.
  • The Water Elemental rises from the water, creating a good jumpscare.
  • In the illusion sequences loads of spider man clones beat spider man up and changes his suit

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A woman demands Peter take his clothes off (to put on a new suit). He drops his pants ( just shown in underwear). Someone walks in on them and takes a photo to show a girl that he's cheating with another one
  • Peter Parker and MJ kiss after the final fight scene
  • After realising Beck's true sinister side, Peter quickly starts to get changed in his Spidey suit in a hotel room with MJ in the same room, as he takes off his shirt, he asks MJ to turn around as he continues. She obeys but starts to turn around to peek but is interrupted
  • MJ and Peter kiss three times after the final fight
  • Peter parker and Mj kissed at the end of the movie.

Violence & Gore

  • Peter is hit by a high speed bullet train and his attacker assumes he is dead (some in the audience may as well). He survives, but not without serious injuires that require medical treatment. The scene is very sudden, completely surprising, and mentally disturbing (to Peter) as well.
  • In the post credits scene, Peter Parker is implied to have murdered Mysterio. This is obviously an illusion made to frame Peter, but the video shown of him allegedly murdering him is pretty disturbing.
  • Mysterio is shot by his own drones after ignoring a safety warning. Little blood is shown, but he dies from his wounds in front of Peter.
  • During one of Mysterio's illusions against Spider-Man, a zombified Iron Man rises from the ground and flies towards him with his skull exposed. This could frighten younger audiences as it's very sudden and unexpected.
  • A Character is hit by a train, the aftermath is a little gory.
  • Unexpectedly, Nick Fury is shot. Blood is shown.
  • Peter shoots mysterio not that bloody and it implies that he did murder him

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Mysterio attempts to shoot Peter in the head at point blank range. The entire scene is very disturbing.
  • During the illusion sequence, a Zombie Iron Man appears from his grave and black widow spiders are crawling over him. Very scary
  • Peter Parker is seen suffering from PTSD, as he experiences a panic attack when his friends ask him of being Tony Stark's successor and then leaps to the roof of the building where he sees a graffiti made in honor of his deceased mentor. He's also shown suffering from depression, since he mourns Tony for quite a few instances. The depiction of this is quite realistic, and this may disturb some.
