Fredom of speech vs. PC speech
bozarts2 December 2016
This episode addresses the issue of free speech vs. non-offending anyone. It is addressed with equity and respect, but totally and judiciously the idea that we need to guard our ability to express and intelligently criticize any and every system, in spite of the fact that there might be someone offended by it. In the end we need to preserve our freedom of conscience because that takes primacy over offense because it expounds truth, universal truth. The way it is communicated may not always be genteel, but we all do not have those skills of expressing ourselves with gentility. The ending monologue by Tim Allen sums up the entire episode. It ties it together as an exceptional argument for freedom of speech and values that our country was founded! Excellent episode. Kudos!! Thanks you!

Excellent summation of an important topic, though it putters out in the end.

Oh no, who will protect the rich white man.

Tim's politics shine through real strong in this one. Mandy even keeps bringing up, "what about those who do work just as hard and don't succeed". And Mike just brushes it off with "Well that didn't happen to me, so it must not be true". True Conservitive mind think there. I agree that the left can get a bit to agressive with what gets labeled offensive, but so much of that in this episode was totally staw man arguments. Then Mike really shows his colours by actually (starting to) telling a racist joke (we fortunatly don't see him finish). I shudder to think what joke they would have done if Jonathan wasn't in the cast. 8 out of 10 times I think I could at least get along with Mike, but this is one where I just can't.
