Short, sweet, beautiful and meaningful
hanalisss13 December 2021
There's so many good things in this drama that the bad ones don't really care.

So far is my favorite from the trilogy.

Yes I know the drama was silly, but it's fictional anyway, I found a bit unrealistic that a top star idol decided to date a teenager who is basically so shy and quirky but when you leave that behind you actually enjoy the show a lot.

The script is very emotional and clever, loved all the connections and links to past events and personal traumas.

I actually cried at the end and I am not an easy cryier!

The story was just beautiful and sweet and left a very good feeling in me.

I first heard abt this drama from many international kdrama fans..my first impression abt the male lead is that he must be a an alien (before watching. Ha).i first started watching dramas for actors...and i saw this actor and really badly wanted to watch this bcz he is very handsome...i'm now an exo L..and couldn't recognize uri lovely leadernim as this drama main lead at the begining ... his acting paid justice to the character in my opinion...this was one of his first works so no need to judge his acting further also bcz this is a mini drama. Actress was only 19 when she played the role ..and it was good too.....but hope he get casted for a bigger work in the future to show his potential in small screen cuz he did well on stage. (to fans who haven't watch this ,i watch it through telegram.) osts were great too..

Best short drama
elisabethratna1021 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This is my review of this drama. I'll try my best not to be biased ;)

This drama is undoubtedly the best short drama I've ever watch alongside with Splash Splash Love (they are directed and written by the same person, Kim Ji Hyun). At first, I watch this because I know Suho, and I think it will be just the same typically story-written drama that I have watched. First of all, the casts are perfect and I especially love the girl main character. She can deliver her emotions so well, and I'm surprised because I haven't seen her drama/films before (maybe she's not famous). And I love her expression, it's natural and not forced. A rare thing in drama world. Second, the storyline is so well-written. I keep questioning what happened and what will happen while watching this drama, and I found myself in awe as the story unfolds. And they're not leaving e-ve-ry sing-le detail. Third, it's a fantasy drama but it feels realistic! Why? Because the story writer makes it so that it feels realistic. For an example, a die-hard fans can really relate to the girls main character (grim reaper), right? Fourth, the soundtrack choices in this drama is on point. It's not cheesy and distracting (sometimes people will remember the ost more than the scene because it's playing excessively). These soundtrack also helps to deliver the emotions. Overall it's a very touching drama, and it has many life lessons in it. For you who haven't watched this drama, what are you waiting for? :)

ps. I cried like a little baby while watching this

A Good Story

Warning: Spoilers
This is the first time I've cried many times while watching Korean dramas. Even though it only has 6 Episodes, the story really made me smile and cry... :)

In the last episode, I cried many times. Even I couldn't stop crying for 2 hours. Even though "he"couldn't live forever, but at least he didn't regret what he was he has done.

Good enough
PennyReviews11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
A mini drama part of a bigger project, that started really strong, but failed to give a satisfying ending. The concept of this drama is very clever and original: a girl grim reaper, who used to be a fan-girl for a famous singer, is trying to keep her idol alive. During the process she interferes with life and death matters and is sent back to life with a number of wishes she can use in order to save the singer. However, when the wishes are finished, she has to return back to the unliving. So, the first episodes were really good. They were funny and cute and the romance was exiting. Towards the middle, the romance started to develop, and it was a nice romantic story, but the ending was really confusing, at least for me, and felt like they were wrapping things up for the next story. I wish they had explained what happened more. Also, the jump forward seven years later didn't felt like it, and, honestly, it was like some of the chemistry between the couple vanished. So, 5 out of 10 for Universe's star.

good one !!

I liked the drama...it's short but sweet... actors were good but had minor difficulty in expressing certain emotions.. this was their first leading roles so thinking that way this exceeded expectations.... even though there were lack of expression of love, (not infatuated or attraction ) i saw woo joo 's change of demeanor in 7th ep which was like a spark of love..he expressed it well... there were sides they lacked but still a good one... hope they can have a good carrier with more advanced acting skill.. good job...

An original story with a great ending
eli-stuttgart18 August 2020
The mini-series with Suho was nice, which had good approaches, but was still not enough for a better place in my heart. At first I was skeptical about the actress, but in the end she fitted in well with the personality of the protagonist. Still, the acting skills were on a low level, as you could clearly feel the embarrassment between them.

The story hadn't fully unfolded, sure, some approaches were good, but it seems like an unsafe framework. The male protagonist's love for the female also seemed implausible, probably because it happened too quickly. The work as a reaper was depicted a bit contourless, a little more spice would not have hurt.

What I really liked was the friendship between the main character and the stuck ghost in the real world. She is a loyal fangirl who believes in the good of her idol despite his bad behavior.

And of course the touching finale, which touched my heart. The mutual time spent together building a small family and a stronger bond. That she sacrificed her life afterwards for a little girl so that she can experience more than before. She had done this not only for the time with her lover, to spend more time with him, but also for the girl. So she had shown her pure heart until the end.
