As a dog person, this episode just made me cringe all the way. The jokes about Olly having terminal cancer and whatnot. I just didnt find it humorous at all. Maybe im overreacting but i seriously question the narrative of this episode.

Really? You raise a dog for freaking SIXTEEN YEARS and decides to put the dog down just like that? Because he slightly bit your mom's wrist? This is supposed to be funny?
The hospital scene shows that even though Ollie is a senior dog and needs regular check-ups, he didn't even get his teeth cleaned or has gotten necessary shots. No wonder he bites. He could be suffering from number of illnesses including alzheimers.
I was shocked and disgusted at the lack of sympathy or any objection on killing an animal that loved his family for 16 years. I think it was very wrong and dangerous presentation of treating aggressive dogs and how to deal with them.

Such a horrible episode. How they handled the the dog thing was horrible. It is like dogs are not alive and material things. Even if the dog bites, there are ways you can handle this. You don't have to put it down. And please do not glorify manipulative people like the mother and nany. They are the ones should go away!

I thought I was watching a JOKE with the story line of this episode. A woman's obviously emotionally-manipulative and deranged Mother made up a story about the family dog 'biting her' in the previous episode - which required A PLASTER - and now the daughter is "FORCED" to kill her perfectly healthy dog of 16 years?! This is the most disgusting, screwed up nonsense I've ever seen played out - everyone in the cast acts like it's totally fine and a non-issue! The writers and producers should be ashamed, endorsing the idea that animals are ours to kill whenever they become the slightest bit inconvenient to our lifestyle and that the life of an older dog has no value. The sweet little dog looking up at his owner of 16 years whilst she casually gets advice on how she goes about having him killed made me sick to my stomach. I'm sorry I even tried watching this sick garbage programme.

As a dog person I both liked the episode and hated it because of the content. I am glad the dog prevailed in the end, but the laughs that were there before in the last couple of episodes just weren't there tonight.
I like the competition aspect at the PR firm, but most of the story lines with the mothers aren't great right now.

No one who has a dog, would put down their dog in this manner or even consider it! The entire premise is just ridiculous. I have no idea on earth who would find this the least bit humorous or entertaining. The complete lack of care at the vet, shows a complete lack of concern. She should have brought the dog home vice the collar. It was a nice twist in the end but as a dog owner, I would not just give my dog up....
They picked a perfect way to alienate every dog owner who watches their show. If my mother locked my dog outside, in a garage, etc. It would be a war! No wonder the dog bit her. And the moron husband, and his complacent attitude toward the dog just topped off a terrible episode.
