Things being what they are, this show had to get around to the Christmas episode at some point (attacking it head on in the first season, no less!) and I admit to being pretty flippin' excited to see it. What I really love about 'Jingle Bell Glock' is that it's classic "Lethal Weapon" in FOX prime time form; complete with a girl doing a swan dive from a high-rise, the Murtaugh household under threat, and Riggs being pushed to the edge. This is the most we've seen of Miranda, an actual character as opposed to a ghost in flashback. The writers go for the throat in juxtaposing warm holiday memories with a shot of Riggs (alone) loading a revolver.
As holiday episodes go, it's got humor, heartbreak, action, and even the requisite happy ending; all handled beautifully.
Easily my favorite.
9/10
