- Nas Kamal: What are you doing here? I thought you had a doctor's appointment with Allie.
- Kurt Weller: Just made a little detour to see where you've been sneaking off to every morning.
- Nas Kamal: Oh, I'd hardly call it sneaking. You're a very heavy sleeper.
- Kurt Weller: Am I?
- Nas Kamal: Yeah.
- Kurt Weller: If you're considering going in there, you're a lot more Hindu than I am Catholic.
- Nas Kamal: I'm waiting for word from my inside source.
- Kurt Weller: From Sandstorm? I thought you said they went dark before Jane showed up.
- Nas Kamal: They did. But before that, they sent me coded messages through this marquee. I still check it every morning.
- Kurt Weller: Your source might have been burned. I don't think it's very safe to keep coming here.
- Nas Kamal: There's a Hindu goddess called Kali who rampages through the world destroying demons. She means well, but eventually she goes mad with bloodlust and almost destroys the world.
- Kurt Weller: That sounds like Shepherd.
- Nas Kamal: Until we stop her, it's not safe anywhere. And right now, we've got practically nothing to go on. I can't afford to stop coming here.
- Tasha Zapata: Reade's back.
- Patterson: Yeah? How's he doing?
- Tasha Zapata: I think the time off did him some good.
- Patterson: I'm not taking time off.
- Tasha Zapata: Shepherd tortured you, your boyfriend shot you, then tried to lethal injection you. I think you're entitled to a couple of sick days.
- Edgar Reade: No increased chatter about Dabbur Zann activity in the U.S., but forensics found traces of nitroglycerin inside the container.
- Kurt Weller: That's a down and dirty way to make explosives.
- Jane Doe: So you think Stepulov smuggled in a bomb?
- Kurt Weller: That'd be my guess. First we have to ID his target before he strikes.
- Patterson: I heard Dr. Sun was kind of harsh.
- Jane Doe: She said Roman can't be fixed.
- Patterson: Do you believe her?
- Jane Doe: She was... very confident.
- Patterson: You know, from a scientific perspective, psychological conclusions are rarely... well, conclusive.
- Jane Doe: He's my brother. I know there's a side to him that she can't see. But I'm not objective.
- Patterson: Maybe that's the point. Weller wasn't objective, and he brought out the best in you. Maybe you can do that for Roman.
