Informative, Professional and Respectful

I highly recommend this documentary if you would like to know more about how obesity looks on the inside. What is shown is a post mortem, very respectfully and professionally done, on an obese deceased lady. It made me think afterwards about my own health. Watching this documentary could propel someone towards a better and more healthy lifestyle. A bit of a warning: This documentary is very graphic, obviously, so not for the faint of heart.

3/12/18. This is a professionally done documentary that features the conducting of an autopsy on a severely obese woman. While graphic, the clinical approach makes this a watchable educational program in which you can actually see how excessive fat overburdens the human body. It's best to lose excess weight, but that is really hard for most people. Part of the problem is the food supply itself and the effects of obesogens, and other part is genetics. Still, daily exercise is helpful to make the most of trying to eat healthy.

EYE (and mind) OPENING!!!

As a morbidly obese Fatman. I was taught to understand what self indulgent gluttony does to an individual if one even starts at "Hell why not?" The lessons learned has shown me what it may mean when people speak of moderation. I have since taken my big body to a bariatric surgery prelim group. They in turn teach the mindset necessary to lose weight for surgery. (Surgery is not required) I don't think I have to have surgery. I lost 45lbs in four weeks using their techniques. The only question I'm left with is "If I lose a safe amount of weight. Will the harm I've already done be lessened?

Excellent but ironic

Warning: Spoilers
Apparently 1/4 of Brits are now obese. The same could be said of Americans. This is a wonderful examination of what excess fat does to the internal organs and how it affects everything inside us. The irony is that the physician doing the post mortem is as obese as the corpse was and his assistant is no small girl either. It is a bit jarring to hear him speak of all the fat surrounding the heart, lungs, kidneys and soft organs and their peril and watch is chubby arms and double chins swinging as he works. It seems to be a sad statement that they couldn't find a slimmer physician who'd be more of an advertisement for healthy living than this one. However the doc itself is fascinating and well done.
