The kiss

One of my favorite movies is the 1993 movie Six Degrees of Separation, and one controversial scene was where Will Smith's character kissed a male character, but during the filming Will Smith refused to actually kiss his fellow male star, so with some clumsy editing we, the viewers, don't actually see the kiss. But here in Superstore's Valentine's Day, nearly a quarter of a century after Six Degrees of Separation, we see Mateo kiss Jeff on the lips in all its glory, and I think some viewers may be offended by that.

I saw this episode one day after Valentine's Day so I don't know if that's a coincidence.

Wish they'd stop making S.A. a punchline

Multiple episodes now have included characters "misinterpreting" behavior or definitions of sexual assault or harassment as a punchline. It's not funny and I don't know why it's supposed to be? There may be a time in society where it could be joked about but with victims struggling to speak up and be believed it is extremely tone deaf to keep doing this tired bit.

Honestly, it's exhausting enough that it makes me want to stop watching. And this came out in 2017? Get out 🙄
