The show starts at 3am and somehow, when the employees decide they want to call it quits, it's roughly 11pm. This would put them at nearly 20 hours shifts.
When they all call it quits Tate leaves and says TGIF. However it happened on Black Friday and when the customers leave it was not Friday anymore it would be Saturday.
All of the people outdoors are bundled up in heavy coats, scarves, hats, and gloves, yet no one's breath is visible, betraying that it was filmed in warm southern California, not a cold Midwest November night.
When Jonah is knocked over by a rush of shoppers, there is a POV shot from his camera that falls straight down and remains at a fixed angle. The camera was strapped to his hand, so there would be no way it could remain perfectly still like that, unless it came off his hand, in which case it would have bounced more before coming to a rest. Only a television/film camera on a rig would have fallen in that fashion.
Shortly before the board comes Cheyanne is seen at her register. It is supposed to be Black Friday at about 3 am but the register says 11/4 and the time is about 12:30 pm.
Amy says that the employees gathered in the cafe are all that's left of the staff after most went home sick from food poisoning. The next scene shows a very long line of previously-unseen female employees waiting to use the women's room, forcing Amy to use the men's room instead.
When Jonah is interviewing Amy for his documentary, she sarcastically says she loves getting up at 3 AM. The episode starts at 3 AM, with Garrett and Amy in the parking lot, so she would have had to have gotten up earlier than that to be there by 3 AM. She is even seen holding a takeout coffee cup, meaning she had time to stop for coffee before arriving at Cloud 9.
