We meet CJ's daughter, Rose. She is played by adorable up-and-coming McKenna Grace. With her and Max, it is love at first site. They even reenact the "I'm flying" scene from 'Titanic'. I absolutely love these child romances.
Ramona will be dancing as the Mouse King in "The Nutcracker" on Christmas Eve. It will mean missing Lola's party. She feels like she will lose her best friend. Kimmy suggests to go to the party for an hour then go to the show right before her entrance. Fernando gets lost and Kimmy takes her place. Now this was not nearly as bad as when DJ intervened in the wrestling match in season 1. But this was still cringe. Luckily, it does not damage the whole episode.
Jimmy is offered a job in Oakland. He then tells Stephanie he loves her which overwhelms her. She is unsure about whether she loves him or not. She certainly can't say it. DJ thinks her fear of commitment dates back from when their mom died.
If not for the cringey Nutcracker bit, this would have been a perfect episode.
